Yes he is genin. He is because he has his headband. and plus Im pretty sur he has something up his sleeve. he isn't stupid.

umm well it would be kinda cool if he died... But the reason for that would to show Naruto that someone as young as Kono could die to make Naruto grow up a little. Sorry kono don't hate me.

I know it would. It would really suck but this will really want him to go up against Pain even more and go into 9 taled naruto in which he learns to control to Bijuu and it would make him even stronder and now that he can control the nine tailed full power then he will destroy anyone in his way to save the village in which he will then be Hokage! That would be awsome.
Yea..but i think its to early for him to become hokage...and his barly iz learning sage....i think it will be awhile for him to master tha kyuubi..but i think he will at least unleash more then 4 tails wen he fights pein.

Well yeah that is true. but it would be cool. And yeah I'm predictin around 6 tail maybe. i think it will be the final battle of part 2 and it will leeway into part 3 in which his new teacher will be someone of hokage level... I have no clue who... maybe someone from the village hidden in the clouds.

Konohamaru wont die... and I foresee him being able to control up to 5 tails... but he has sworn off that power remember... if he starts using power that devastating there is no way he would become hokage since everyone would fear him again... hokage is determined by vote (refer back to the chapters dealing with why Orochimaru left Konoha)

I think that Konohamaru does stand a chance and is capable with the aid of Ebisu to take on that 1(particularly weak) pain body.

that only works if he is touching whoever he is sucking the soul out of, and also only if that person is lieing, otherwise why didn't pain just use that ability on Jiriyah? lol.
