SM Naruto beat 5 Pains and Kakahi took on the two strongest ones. IMO Konohamaru took on the weakest of them all. It's still a great feat, no doubt, but to put him in league with Naruto and Kakashi is overdoing it.

hes not putting them in their league, he's using their feats to gauge how powerful konohamaru has become at that time. He killed a Pain, a remarkable feat for a genin

Konohamaru can take out maybe 75 of Naruto's 1K clones if he gets prep time and Naruto doesn't.

Naruto's sexu jutsu is also superior. Not to mention the shock element with 1K clones, substitution, mole jutsu etc.

Ash works once at best. Then Naruto has the intel on it if he doesn't already. He can poof his clones in the ash to restore the chakra and create them again somewhere safe. It's 300 the movie but with ninja.
