the third hokage?s alst name was sarutobi , i suppose his son is(or was) Asuma so konohamaru?s father is him. As for the mother i would say Kurenai

nah i dont the he'll be able to summon emma cuz only the 3rd knew how to do that not even asuma knew how to summon him and he is the 3rd's son

I think he might learn some Earth jutsu and maybe even fire jutsu. Sarutobi was good at these and well, Kishi likes some parallels.

I wholeheartedly agree and think the manga will head in this direction! Konohamaru is bound to inherit Sarutobi's staff & summon. All that he needs is a contract. I'd love to see this.
Maybe that's also possible, he looks up to Naruto and is his "student/rival". Good suggestion.

As said previously, Sarutobi Hiruzen was Konohamaru's grandfather, while Sarutobi Asume, was his uncle. Due to the lack of participation from any parental figures of Konohamaru at either's funerals, I think it's safe to assume they're also deceased.
But yes, I wholeheartedly agree, it'd be nice to see Konohamaru develop something of his own, rather than becoming a cheap Naruto rip off. Who would want their Seventh Hokage, to be a clone of the Sixth?
