Dude Konohamaru is a beast! I suspect he could become Hokage before Naruto, or if Naruto does die during this war he will be chosen instead of him as the 6th Hokage.

He has multiple high level jutsu including, shadow clone, rasengan, shurkilen shadow clone, and fire style jutsu. He's intelligent and seem's to have rather large chakra reserves.

He could even end up becoming stronger than Hiruzen.
