The kyubi says he put that complex seal on him....

1. He could be referring to the seal that divided the yin/yang chakra and gave Naruto half while he kept half of it.

2. Or maybe a seal that allows Minato to use kyubi chakra when he's fighting alongside Kushina? (now Naruto)
