I feel currently like Naruto and Sasuke are too powerful to not take out a couple of the members themselves which limits the amount of support members. I like having to make it tactical and harder rather than just throwing a really strong character at them and getting the easy win.

Can't believe people actually think that Konoha would push them to high diff when all of them get wrecked when Deidara drops C3 on them or when Pein just decides to use CST or CT on them. Only a few may survive those attacks and then those few get wrecked by the rest of the Akatsuki.

When was chiyo in konoha. And since you said konoha it would be nice to have tobi orochimaru and Soloking Itachi with naruto and Sasuke. Really Even Sasuke, Jman and Naruto can't take the whole akatsuki on. the rest are fodders compared to the members of akatsuki

Pain and Itachi are obviously going to be the largest threats in this battle. Here's how I see the match-ups.

[FONT=Tahoma, Verdana, Geneva, Calibri, sans-serif]Naruto, Jiraiya, and Ao fighting Pain first. Jiraiya and Naruto Sage Mode barrage themselves might be enough, but Ao is just there to help if Pain manages to launch CT.[/FONT]

Sasuke, Tsunade, Ay, Mei, and Gai taking on Itachi. Without Spirit weapons, I suppose we assume Itachi's Susano'o's hands are empty. Ay and Sasuke should occupy Itachi, with Mei and Gaii as support, allowing Tsunade to open her seal. All out attack on him from then.

Zabuza, Haku, and Sai against Hidan. Hidan is probably the weakest member of Akatsuki, so Haku and Zabuza should take him down. Sai should have enough time to draw his sealing Tiger, and seal Hidan.

Lee, Chiyo, Kankuro, Neji, and Gaara vs. Sasori. Kankuro isn't able to use human puppet, so he and Lee just straight out attack. Chiyo takes Neji as her puppet. Gentle Fist + Puppetry + Strong Fist + Sand equals GG. Gaara can bring Sasori back down if he takes to the skies.

Danzo, Temari, Hiashi, and Shikaku vs. Kisame. Danzo's summon should be able to negate Kisame's WATER EVERYWHERE NO JUTSU (I made that up. Hehe.) by sucking it up, and Orochimaru, Hiashi, and Shikaku as well as Danzo himself should be more than enough to take down Kisame.

Orochimaru, Shino, Kiba, Hinata, Ino, Chouji, Genma vs. Tobi. If Tobi is in serious mode, it'll literally take all of these guys to stop him. Tobi with orange mask was still Tobi with Kamui and Senju DNA.

Kakashi, Torune, Anko, Asuma vs. Kakuzu. Kakashi and Torune are the biggest factors, with Anko and Asuma there as back up.

Darui, Oonoki, Tenten, and Yamato to take down Deidara. Darui and Oonoki help if Deidara takes to the skies, and Tenten and Yamato are for range support.

Kurenai, Kotetsu, Shizune, Izumo, and Fu to beat Konan. She doesn't seem to have preparation time, so no Paper Bomb River.

Sakura and Kitsuchi can take down Zetsu.
