Konoha people and ninjas don't know their own history..

No one seems to even remember or know the name of the fourth hokage..or how he looks..or even his name?Even a 3 year old could have made the connection between him and Naruto after seeing even a single photo of his(which happens to be present only in one or two places in the village excluding the stone monument which well,looks terrible)...

Most of the ninjas including Sasuke had no idea who Madara was despite Madara's notoriety or being a founder of Konoha..

Barely do any ninja know about the famous techniques invented by Second or fourth hokage like the the Flying raijin or the Rasengan or Edo tensei..

99.99% ninjas don't know the name of the previous four Hokage..people knew Hiruzen only because he was alive and ruling..while no one even knew "The Yellow Flash" despite his fame..

It seems as if history is not taught in the ninja academy..

Its just how to story goes. Naruto couldnt find out he had parents who saved him or else the story would have played out much differently.

Hiruzen kept the fourth hokage under wraps for Naruto's sake, and Edo Tensei is a Kinjutsu so it's not like just anybody will know how to use it.

The Fourth Hokage was famous in Konoha,and he was widely known as the Yellow Flash of Konoha.It's not like we see every character not knowing all this stuff.

But,your right the battle in the final valley should have been taught in the Academy.Who knows,maybe Hiruzen told them to stop teaching it after the Uchiha massacre for Sasuke's sake.

Hearing about how one of his Ancestors was "Evil" and used the Kyuubi to try and attack Konoha but got his ass kicked by Hashirama and "died" would of been pretty bad.

I've noticed that too, after this war is over, Naruto should tell everybody about the history of Ninja. From Kaguya all the way to the present.

This would make sense ...if you know if the whole naruto parent thing was a mystery.
It wasn't.
At what point did the plot make make revealing minato as naruto's dad a central or even trivial mystery ?

It wasn't.

Its not as if the people of konoha were wondering who his father was.
Also why would they randomly tell him ?
Nobody is suppose to speak of that incident.
