Scenario 2: Neji and Shikamaru are added to Team Jonin

Huh, so many abilities and characters to process. Couldn't the fodder ones at least be forgotten? :/

OT:

Scenario 1: Root wins.
Danzo can defeat Kakashi, Orochimaru defeats Gai.
Kabuto immediately fodderizes Shizune (canon), which gives root the numerical advantage.
Aoba can be taken care of by Fuu. Even though he's not the offensive type he's still an Anbu, which puts him all around above a special Jonin like Aoba whose speciality isn't combat either.
Torune and Sai can simply stall Yamato and Asuma long enough for the others to do their job. With their contrasting ranges its highly unlikely either side gets defeated easily.

Scenario 2: Orochimaru with arms and w/o ET is the same business as an armless Oro, might as well just add Neji and Shika to team J.
In this scenario i give it to the Jonin. These two will make up for Aoba and Shizune, which in turn will make it possible to defeat guys like Kabuto and Sai and give the numerical advantage against Danzo and Oro (which are the real threats).

Edited Scenario 2, realized Oro could solo with summons. Anyway I included the fodders for a reason:

-Shizune is a medic and can heal her team, and her poison technique actualy has potential to be pretty OP
-Asuma can counter Baku or engage in close comabat
-Aoba can counter Baku, immobilize opponent's movements with Stone needles, and use his crows as distractions

-Torune is actually not weak, his parasitic bugs are OP
-Sai can give his teammates flight
-Fu could nail someone with Mind Transfer if his teamwork with torune is good

Orochimaru is immune to Shizune's poison. And Hirudora wouldn't do shit against regeneration incarnated.
