Naruto - orphaned after both his parents died during Obito's attack with the Kyubi.

Iruka - the same as Naruto.

Sasuke - orphaned after the Uchiha Massacre

Shizune - orphaned after her uncle Dan died.

Kakashi - orphaned after his father committed seppuku.

Gai - orphaned after his father went 8 gates

Yamato - orphaned after he was kidnapped and experimented on by Oro.

Kabuto - orphaned at a young age, and taken in by Leaf Shinobi.

Sai - orphaned at a young age and recruited by ROOT.

Neji - orphaned after his father was killed in the Hyuga Affair.

Orochimaru - orphaned some time before he became Hiruzen's student.

Kushina - orphaned when her village was destroyed.


I'm sure there are other but you get the idea.

everytime i see this naruto's quote about parent killer coolest guy, can't stop facepalming,

in NV everyone has some sob story, and when they dies kishi shows tons of flashback

Yeah he loves the guy who saves Konoha from civil war and possible invasion of other villages. Same guy who also protects him even after death.

While Naruto worships the guy who killed thousands of innocents, his own parents just for his selfish desires.

Naruto doesn't worship Obito or construct his life around everything Obito did; unlike Sasuke does with Itachi.

Naruto's coolest guy comment was in reference to Obito trying to be Hokage when he was a kid. That's what Naruto respects. Not all the horrible things Obito did and planned to do.

Also, can we really say that Itachi prevented Civil War and potential invasion? The Leaf Elders, ANBU and Hokage were all in the know about the Uchiha's coup. If things did jump off, it would've been a short engagement. Include Konoha being invaded by Oro and destroyed by Pein and there being no attempt by rival villages to capitalize on Konoha's weakened state. If there was and Uchiha coup, no rival village would've invaded. Just Danzo hyping the threat of invasion like the war mongerer he was.
