Yeah, I'd have to agree. The only one of Akatsuki here I can see actually dying would have to be Deidara. That is, however, if Pein allows them to get close enough to do that. After Deidara is defeated, I'm sure that Akatsuki members will get serious and that will be the end of Konoha 11 (without Naruto).

Current Choji is apparently able to take out Kakuzu (which I find laughable, how can being a large target help AT ALL against a large-scale ninjutsu specialist) maybe he could make a difference?

Ah, who am I kidding. I'd put my money on the whole of Akatsuki vs any single Hidden Village, the Konoha 11 posing a challenge is just idiotic.

EDIT: People seem to be forgetting that Kisame could feasibly solo too.

(As could Sasori with either Third Kazekage or 1000 puppets, Deidara with C3, C4 or C0, though C4 could be avoided with the Byakugan, Kakuzu with combination elemental attacks 'till they're carbonized, Konan if she has her bombs prepped... Hell, even Zetsu could if he can outlast them with many many many clones)

The only member of Akatsuki who COULDN'T win this battle ALONE would be Hidan
