In all seriousness, there's no way in heck that Shikimaru has more power than Hinata, just saying.

You need to be real strong to break from his shadow or fast enough to outrun the shadow. Neither of which Hinata has shown. Also Shikamaru is a lot smarter.

Smarts/=/ power, and Hinata wouldn't need to "outrun it." She's not melee only. She has air palm, which can damage an enemy's organs from a distance and is invisible to normal eyes while Shikimaru's shadow's (not counting in external factors) are predictable. Smarts are primarily involved with prep.


A databook fact is that air palm is a variant of palms rotation, so more likely than not, Hinata also has rotation.


When it comes to fighting strength, Hinata's better by far, and is not stupid either as her intelligence was ranked equal to Sasuke's.

As Lee said when he whipped Sasuke's ass, there's a difference between seeing something and being able to react to it. I may see a rock coming at me at 100 MPH, but I probably wouldn't be able to react to it.

Neji has shown great reaction time.... As far as we know, he was always beating lee's ass...

As for PawsX, I think you're overrating shikamaru, much like what other people do. A lot of people think he's strong because he took out Hidan, yet most people dismiss The fact that shikamaru needed to see hidan's techs, analyze them while Asuma distracted him, had prep time to think of a strategy in konoha, prepared the explosive tags, and then had Kakashi assist him in executing it. Honestly, I'd say even tenten could beat him... Shikmaru and Ino just aren't cut out to fight.
