Konoha 10 is strange for represent leaf

In all genin there are only Naruto and Sasuke who can use elemental ninjutsu.
All others has clan technique only or regular ninjutsu...

Choji,Shikamaru,Ino clan technique no elemental :shrug:

Neji,Lee,Tenten clan technique no elemental :shrug:

Kiba,Hinata,Shino clan technique no elemental :shrug:

For exemple Neji would be an awesome elemental jutsu user.It would be could to see him using lighting element combined with his byakugan.
Tenten and Kiba should be wind,Choji would be good for Doton user.


Konoha 10 should have more elemental jutsu users ,even Konohamaru can use it.It's not styled to see only familly clan technique.Konoha is the Fire country so it should have more katon,like Kumo village has more Raiton user like Omoi,Darui etc..

I saw some weak nameless ninja from konoha using elemental jutsu in Orochimaru's attack and Pein Attack but it's strange to see that noone from Konoha 10 is skilled with it.

Do you think it would be better if Konoha 10 has more elemental jutsu users?

They have elements, but they only specialize in their Clan Techniques, however, it would be nice.

There's no reason that they can't, I think it's more efficient to be elite in one aspect of ninjutsu than mediocre in many.

Neji uses Air Palm so that's kind of an elemental technique, Shikamaru doesn't need any, Ino is useless anyways, kiba would hit Akamaru on accident, Choji is a butterfly, Lee doesn't know anything so I don't know how he even passed the academy, and everyone else doesn't need it because their clan has pretty useful techniques, except tenten shes worthless, anyone who makes a specialty out of what every other ninja can do, useless. Give her like 3 elements maybe then she can last 35 seconds against Temari

Konoha used to have great Fire users - Jiraiya, Hiruzen, Uchiha Clan. All dead.

I'm pretty sure they do or are in the process of learning, I mean Neji is a jonin, so probably knows two, but as Kakashi said learning change of chakra nature normally takes years, and they have probably focused on their refining clan techniques. Sasuke could only do it because of his genius and his sharingan and Naruto because of the technique Kakashi taught him.

If their clan techniques involved elemental techniques then they already would have learnt it like Sasuke learnt the fireball technique because it is taught to all Uchiha. These clan techniques have helped Konoha a lot over the year so as long as they are effective elemental techiniques don't matter
