Hey how did konan's plan failed? I'm sure tobi can become intangible for max5 minutes. And izagni works on for 1 minute but konan used paper bomb for 10 minutes even tobi can't stand paper bombs for 4 minutes? So how did tobi survived? If my explanation is correct then that mean tobi can use izagni for as long as he wants before his he goes blind?

Silly,boy the duration of izanagi depends on the user.Danzo was a non-Uchiha so his only lasted for a minute.That's why he had ten Sharingan and allowed Orochimaru to experiment with Hashirama's DNA on him,to increase the time.Tobi fan use Izanagi for 10 mins before his eye permanently closes.

He couldnt go solid because the bombs were going off so in the brief second before Konan activated it he used space time then he went in and out until Konan left him to die

He had to go intangible for 5 minutes and then use Izangi for the reminder of the bombs and i believe thats his maxium as his eye closed after

No,he didn't go intangible for 5 mins,he activated Izanagi right after falling into the paper chasm and hearing Konan's explanation.See the episode-253- the bridge to peace.
