It depends on the situation. Intel or no Intel?

Without Intel: Tsunade doesn't have byakugo activated after a simple scratch. She has no idea about the circle and Hidan stabs himself game over.

With Intel: Tsunade has byakugo activated so she will recover from his attacks, BUT Hidan also now has intel so he will stab right through his head on the get go, or constantly stab himself to the point where it is irrecoverable. Smashing the ground will disrupt the circle but amidst the rubble Hidan can easily create another one, he can take advantage of the dust and rubble blinding Tsunade. With intel Tsunade might be able to pull this off if she tags him with body pathway, then its game over for Hidan, but that's the thing she will have to tag him, while he knows full well what she is capable of so he will try to avoid being hit which he is capable of.

Either way he can win in both scenarios.

Hidan can't kill Tsunade, Besides if he tries his ritual she can just give a good punch to the ground and the ritual stops.

She would need intel for that to happen. She ain't smart enough to understand how his ritual works. With intel that's a different story.

Even without intel she'll win. You think Katsuyu will let him do the ritual? He must move to avoid the acid so once he does Tsunade will understand that the ritual stops if he moves. and with intel she definitely wins.

Whats to counter? She doesn't land heaven kick of pain. She doesn't know about any ritual she dies when he stabs himself in the heart. He leaves his spear in his heart, she doesn't recover from that as it is simply just there.

Why wouldn't the ritual work? And sure and once he sees what she is doing he can just cut his head, or pierce his heart and Tsunade dies. Its that simple.

You say she doesn't land heaven kick of pain but who says he can land an attack on Tsunade. They both share the same speed stat but Tsunade has better speed feats. Besides Hidan said he was the slowest attacker out of the Akatsuki. While he does have great avoiding abilities he needs to use his Scythe to even get blood from Tsunade. The Scythe can be dodged or grabbed. The scythe can be broken by Tsunade. Although you make some solid points so without intel i think both have a fair chance.

Asuma has a 4.5 in speed in the Databook while Tsunade has a 3.5. But Asuma still got hit by Hidan... Also if there is no intel, I don't really think Tsunade would care that much about the scythe. She doesn't know what could possibly happen to her if hidan took her blood and os she wouldn't care that much for a little cut. Especially since she got healing juts.
