Again, that isn't the point. The point is. Taking a small sharp object and trying to pierce a giant with it isn't going to work. If you take a very tiny shard of glass and pierce yourself in the head, will it reach your brain let alone get past your skull? No.

Not really. The difference between Katsuyu and a paper is bigger then the difference between a bullet and a human. And the bullets destructive power is greater.

Not really. The propulsion the gun gives the bullet is FAR FAR greater than what Konan or any human can throw.

I'm not desagreeing that the acid might be capable of melting the paper, but this is narutoverse, and in narutoverse Jiraiya's fire didn't burned Konan's paper. Real life logic can't always be applied.
