Restrictions: Deidara can't create clay bombs that can annihilate the majority of a village. (look at the kazekage battle)

This is a nice match up IMO , you don't need to restrict Deidaras attack , Konans ability alone would be very hard for Deidara to get a hit on her , both can fly , Konan could win , but C4 ends her very high diff , this is not an easy match up for Deidara.

C2 is probably enough for nuking her, Konan took J'man's oil which is linear and smaller ranged; range of multiple C2 would get to her, plus Deidara can also take it to the air which makes things easier for him. C1 bombs are small and probably would get avoided due to being divided into papers and flight.

İf not, C4 Ends it since Konan lacks ways to take out him before that. The guy kept up with jin Gaara in air, much faster and large scaled than Konan can offer. He is also incredibly pain resistent, took huge shrukens to the arm and did not mind much; also got his 2 arms ripped off but merely flinched. Paper shrukens are dodged or endured (in certain amounts)

Deidara, although strong, has one huge weakness; His ego. He always underestimates his opponents and starts off small. I don't really see Konan doing this so I can see Deidara getting overwhelmed by Konan pretty easily. Deidara will assume that his weaker bombs can kill her off easily and slowly work his way up while Konan would instantly turn into paper and make explosive clones to counter his flying.

One of Deidara's huge advantages is his long-ranged fighting style, which Konan easily counters by being able to fly on her own vs Deidara riding on one of his works of art.

Deidara loses in a similar manner to how he lost to Sasuke, and I don't mean a suicide; I mean the fact that he lets his opponents gather too much intel on him before going hard. I 100% believe that if Deidara would swallow his pride and just try his hardest from the beginning, he'd be a much stronger ninja and Sasuke would be dead, but that's a bit off-topic.

Deidara wouldn't know where to aim his bombs and ends up dying without too much trouble.

Deidara may have an ego but this doesn't change the fact that he's an intellectual person,sporting a 4.5 in the DB in intellegence, Why would he assume that C1's can kill her? Because she's a female? Because she uses paper? He knows that she's a part of the same organization as him, and in fact the reason he remains in the akatsuki is because he respect every other member's "Art" Or abilities. So i don't see him underestimating konan anytime soon.

Also Konan's explosive clones i believe were Anime only, its not canon.

I don't believe her flying has been shown to even be compared to Deidara's. He was able to out Speed Onoki using flight, and out fly Gaara's sand as well

Including the fact that he has C4, which hasn't been shown to destroy a village but everything near the user.
