Konan, the most underrated character ever

I can't figure why she is often considered the weakest in Akatsuki, or a low-rank character among the Narutoverse.
She is badass. Konan undermined an entire clan without the minimal effort, as well as dominate the main villain of the entire serie in a fair 1v1 clash, and she would have killed him if it wasn't for Izanagi. And you're still sure that any other member of Akatsuki would have done the same. Or even better, being Konan the weakest.
Yes she lost to Jiraiya but damn, Pain himself admitted that if Pervy Sage had a prep, he probably would have beaten him too. So it's not that discriminating.

you just summed up exactly why she isn't underrated. It probably wasn't a "fair" fight in the way you tried to make it out to be, because she had prep and a little bit of a home field advantage. Obito was hardly allowed the same luxury going into that affair. I didn't see anything that told me she could've just as easily have given him that much difficulty w/o either considering how she looked in a fight when she can't prep.

Because he centers Naruto and Sasuke (with some Madara and Obito kinda like Salt and Pepper). If he focused on any minor character, especially the female characters, then I wouldn't have made that sarcastic reply.

I'm beginning to have doubts on Sarada. Daughter of Sasuke be damned.
