Konan is the weakest member of the akatsuki

And konan isn't the weakest, and I don't dare for her.
Hidan might outclass her but his jutsu is too restricted, and his is immune to the limitation of his jutsu via chakra paper

Obito stated that Zetsu was very weak and not even a good combat type (the only good point about him is that he is resilient and the negative is that he is easy to beat), whereas at the end of his battle w/ Konan he admitted that he had underestimated her and that he would be dead w/o Izanagi. Also, Hidan was taken down by a 15 year old kid who could mainly only use shadow possession techs and some paper bombs. Shikamaru is a genius, but still. Hidan is an idiot, all Konan has to do is somehow blow him to pieces. If some fodder ninjas can slice off Hidan's head and not get hurt by him, I'm quite sure that Konan can dismember him w/ her bombs. Hidan will still live at the end of the battle, but he'll be quite useless.
Konan is stronger than both Hidan and Zetsu...any other members, not so much.

Nah, I think she could beat Hidan. Even without her trap, she should still be capable of paper bombs, she could try the method that Shikamaru did and blow Hidan up to pieces. I think she could probably decapitate Hidan with her paper jutsus as well. It's possible Hidan might not be able to tough Konan due to her paper ability and her flight capabilities.

This as well, Hidan has no large scale attack that could really damage Konan, nor does he have a realistic way of getting her blood.

It's not solo if he had help from Kakuzu. He basically counts as five people.

She's actually very strong. Not by Akatsuki standards of course, but you have to acknowledge that she was only in the organization because she was Nagato's friend.

She has flight, which is very OP since close-range and mid-range combat is made irrelevant. She can spam paper bombs and paper shuriken at her enemy from a distance, and her enemy needs powerful defense to stop that. Also, she can turn her body to paper which makes slicing/piercing/stabbing attacks null and void. To defeat Konan you need strong long-range elemental attacks.

The fight with Obito disagrees. Plot and his abilities saved him. Anyone else would've been extra crispy as a result of her trap. I think she's more intelligent and experienced than some give her cred for.

And? Is this supposed to be something new? The only reason Konan was even in the akatsuki was because of Nagato....She isn't someone they would go out of their way to recruit. She is pretty strong no doubt, but im not sure she's akatsuki strong.

Dude. Konan would stomp Hidan. She's without of his range and can just bomb him from above, or chop off his head with a giant paper shuriken halos. Plus, Konan can turn her body to paper, so Hidan isn't getting any blood to perform his curse.

Konan is easily the weakest in akatsuki . She has no feats except setting up a nice trap with plenty of prep time . Which she cant do in a spur of the moment battle.
