Konan is almost the exact same as every Naruto female character I think she is....

She is overrated. She didn't even have her own ideals. She was an extension of Nahato and Yahiko. People just think she's badass because she almost killed Obito (even though she had probably years of analyzing and preparation).

Overrated. How is she so good a character. She get owned by everyone she fought, she uses paper to fight so i have no idea how she can be considered strong.

Has the classic female cliche of having a love interest and doing ifind this bad becuase it makes all the females look horribly writtem cause barely any male characters have love interest. So its like kishi does not know how towrite a female character Into the story without giving them a love interest.

This is a cliché that keeps from bring a unique female character. She was the weakest akatsuki or at least the second weakest cause you know females cant be strong in this series.

Oh my seriously what do some of you see in her I dont even see how one could find her attractive.


The things I mentioned can be applied to almost every naruto female character, they lose most of there fights they are In love with someone have jutsu that arent that good.

The only guys defeating Konan from Akatsuki are Nagato, Itachi and Obito (Kisame maybe not sure), other then that i don't see any one capable of defeating her!!

FYI the strongest person on this naruto series is a woman.

Considering her female status and the little time she got to be around, i think she's quite good.

Getting owned =/= weak. Sure she's apparently low on the Akatsuki ladder, but that doesn't mean anything. The fact that she has a place in the Akatsuki automatically makes her strong.
I don't see any problem with her romantic feelings at all ._. Compared to the likes of Sakura and Ino.
She loved Yahiko and Yahiko loved her back, there was no 'domestic violence' in between, coupled with submission on her side, and she cared for Nagato has a longtime friend and a partner, nothing weird about that. This aspect was very well handled imo.
I can agree that she wasn't very attractive, but Jiraiya's comment made the opposite a manga fact though >_>

I don't particularly like her, but i find her design very fine, and her backstory (even though sad) appeals me for the reality it portrays in real life.
She made me care enough for me to feel sad about her death though, so i could never say she's a bad character.

Konan barely has character. Her entire character development is that she is just a pillar for other characters, that's not cool at all. Another bad representation of women in Kishi's manga.

She's a female character who has never said another line of dialogue about anything other than a man. She lives for and totally depends on male figures such as Yahiko, Nagato and Naruto. She was victimised and captures princess style by the likes of Hanzo and Obito.

I don't think she's a strong character at all. She's a weak character power-wise and emotionally. There are few strong female characters in the series (Chiyo, Tsunade, Tayuya) and she isn't one of them.

Yahiko was her lover. The only reason we don't see her as another Sakura is because all of the men she depends on in her life are dead.
