konoha's Sinful Ways & why Revaluation Sasuke+Madara had a point
The so called "Will of Fire" is just a plain rhetoric. Konoha is probably one of the most messed up villages in NV. It's citizens are vile if you consider of their their past sins. In short, revolution Sasuke and Uchiha madara had a very valid point.
Firstly the Uchiha were marginalised and left on the fringes. So they, "the clan possessed with hatred" decide to start a a coup d'état. 13 year old Itachi was coerced into killing his entire clan in cold blood; all women children and babies (sasuke aside) slaughtered. Not Hiruzen nor the elders or the sannin were around to stop him. Logic tells us that most Jounin level shinobi should have suspected something that night, after all the killing didn't just happen in a genjutsu. But apparently no one was privy to the massacre. And those that were played bystanders
Another fine example is what they did to Kakashi's dad sakumo hatake. Sakumo chose to abandon a mission in order to save his comrades. Because of this, he was vilified by the Land of Fire, the villagers of Konoha, and even those he had saved. Dishonoured, Sakumo fell into a deep depression, which caused his abilities to suffer as a result. Eventually, he committed suicide, which of course fked up kakashi badly.
The hyuuga are also vile. The curse sign allows the main family to control and suppress the branch family with a mere hand sign. Keeping the branch family purely at the mercy of the main branch. If they [the branch family were to be disobedient] it could result In their brain cells being destroyed. All the previous kages allowed this practice to take place.
The treatment of Naruto is also up there with the rest. The villagers hated him and blamed him for their misfortune. Knowing full well that he was not to blame, how could be possibly be when he was just a new born when the kyuubi launched his attack. But they blamed him anyway to heal their wounds of losing loved ones. Naruto as far as we know was pretty much abandoned by everyone. No one took him in.
I could go on and on. There are so many examples of messed up things that took place in Kohoha. It would have been interesting to see how Hokage naruto meets these deep rooted hatred on a practical level.
To summarise, naruto will have a real challenge proving madara wrong.
"In this world, wherever there is light – there are also shadows. As long as the concept of winners exists, there must also be losers. The selfish desire of wanting to maintain peace causes wars, and hatred is born to protect love"
