You're being a bigger hypocrite than they are right now. For Sasuke fans, Naruto getting stabbed by shin and the tree trunk were neg diff defeats for him. And you were one of the people who had no problem with that sentiment, even though they were for the viewer's comic relief.

Fast forward to today's anime release, we see Sasuke's visual prowess appear to be bested, also for the viewers but so that we could get an idea of the of power the new enemy possesses rather than for comic relief.

Still, no rash mind believes Shin or a tree truck would neg Naruto in a real fight, nor is it likely that this new enemy could really best Sasuke in a true visual battle or other.

The sad thing is you're so used to Naruto bashing you couldn't help but say Naruto got "negged", even though you're trying to make an argument that Sasuke wasn't negged today based on the Naruto situation. Hypocrisy at it's finest.
