Welcome to the Kiyoshi Clan Application thread, where I, Grandmaster Kiyoshi, Roku, will be accepting several members into the Kiyoshi Clan. At the present, there are 8 slots open for admission into this prestigious group. Before joining, you must be of at least S-Rank and have been a member for at least 6 months to apply. Applications will be accepted or declined on the grounds of the following criteria:

Commitment to Learning
Commitment to Understanding
Commitment to Patience
Commitment to Skill

As the Clan currently resides within a...private sector of the Role-Playing Forums, I and the current members of the clan or rather unwilling to accept anyone into the Kiyoshi Clan who does not meet or exceed the above criteria. The process of studying within the clan is extensive yet rewarding. We are not recruiting strong people looking for a way to get a power-up or members looking for a quick way to gain abilities. Much will be learned in your time as a Kiyoshi Clan member, but it is a lengthy and in-depth process dedicated to not only your increase in ability, but also your understanding of chakra and the philosophy of the clan. How committed are you to Joining the Clan: I have been keeping that banner, Kiyoshi, under my avatar since I've joined. Amongs of all the custom clans out there, this is the most similar to the Gentle Fist, which is my most favorite Style of fighting. I am fully committed to the Kiyoshi Clan and eager to learn its abilities.

Why do you deserve to be Chosen: As I had mentioned earlier, I had never had a 2nd bio before, because I've been saving it for a Kiyoshi Bio. I'm not sure how to answer this as to deserve it, but since I've been a sempai since Aug 2011, and most people can agree around here that I have taught a lot of people and gave my opinion and taught a lot of people in the means of how to fight as of actually fighting them, I think I deserve to be in the Kiyoshi Clan.

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: This is easy, but only one? Fire basically represents anger/hatred, as something that destroys and burns things into nothingness (chances its chemical properties) But none-the-less, fire could also be like "the fire burns in your eyes" as of having the force or the hope to never give up like Konoha has "the Will of Fire".

What is your preferred form of combat: Taijutsu but as to be more general, short range. Most of the rpers have difficulties with short range, and I'd like to take advantage of that. Anyone can nuke from long range and anyone can play mid-range until it comes to a certain point but short range is the most fun, epic, and enjoyable place I can see myself.

How long have you been a member of NarutoBase: Since, 09-04-2010 (1 Year, 7 Month)

How committed are you to Joining the Clan: I am very committed as I have seen the battles and how awe inspiring the abilities of the clan are and wish to learn how to preform these amazing feats. I am also willing to respond to training on time and always be there when needed. I really don't want fancy dancy super abilities I just want to be part of the greatest CC in narutobase and will do anything to get into this clan. I will write paragraphs for you just so I can get in and you will accept me. I will devote the time I use to post here to being on the Kyoshi forum and helping out in any shape or form as I really want this ever since I read your custom clan when I joined. I have also read many thread where kyoshi have fought and have seen what they can do and how they are so intelligent and think out their moves. So I would really like to be taught this if I join this clan. The ability to focus and think my moves through with precision so I can better understand the fighting style of nb. I really hope you accept this short of an application but I am really bad with this kind of stuff

Why do you deserve to be Chosen: I don't really have a reason. I am barley known except for the friends I have and have talked to a few of the mods but I WILL be VERY devoted to the clan and will never do anything to betray it. If I do try to drop my bio or do something stupid may someone please show this to me so I may remember what I said. I also have very little skill when it comes to rp and need help with thinking my moves through and how to preform them right unlike people who have applied here. But I really don't think I can or should answer this question as it is ultiamatley your desicion if I get accepted or not so I doubt what I have said aboce me matters at all

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: I will be explaining Fire today. Fire is a bright beacon of hope in the darkness of life. Fire is the source of one of the keys of life and therefor somewhat drives all life to go on. Without fire, There wouldn't be the objects we take for granted in our time. And I think that is all I can come up with. I am very sorry how short it is but I just can't think of anything more.

What is your preferred form of combat: I prefer a Mid-long range form of combat and like to balance out both offencive and defensive attacks.

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: Fire: fire is the representation of basic power it is energy in one of its simplest forms, it represents both good and evil as it can bring death but it is also a bringer of life, as many plants rely on to reproduce and humans would find it almost impossible to live without it. it can also be a sign of greed and ambition as fire consumes all growing larger and larger while other things are tuned into its fuel

What is your preferred form of combat: short to mid range ninjutsu. water being on of my favourite of them five basic elements combat i also like using taijutsu if i get the chance to. i dont like genjutsu much

How committed are you to Joining the Clan: Why wouldn't i be committed to the best CC on NB. It's unique in many aspects, it's different and it gives you an outside look into what other people can put into the Narutoverse. I also have the activity on NB to commit myself and I will do so proudly.

Why do you deserve to be Chosen: I believe we all have our chances of being chosen. I believe I should be chosen based on my already commitment to RP on NB. The Kiyoshi clan is one if not the best CC on NB today, I've proven myself in aspects of RP and I'm currently Izuna's senpai so that I may past down the necessary knowledge needed for those who wish to grow and better themselves in RP and perhaps eventually enter the Kiyoshi clan as committed members in the future.

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: Water. My first element learned and still my favorite in all aspects.

Water is life, everything on earth has had water integrated sometime in its life. Water is peaceful and calm, peace comes from the gentleness of water which soothes all those who are around the clear masses. Water is also tough, waves capable of destroying civilizations, water can be as hot as fire and is the ingredient to the destroyer of all life..ice. Water is a man with two faces. It's up to nature to decide which face is shown.

What is your preferred form of combat: Realistic to Narutoverse combat. Two elements in which to use them in ways that being limited can show. Restricting yourself shows you new ways to battle and new ways to fully excel in the elements. Also Kenjutsu....what more raw then battling with a simple sword. (other than fists)

Why do you deserve to be Chosen: I'm an up and coming RPer, and have wanted to join the Kiyoshi clan since I started RPing. I don't RP like usual people, but I find weird and strange combos, and I think that I could bring glory to the Kiyoshi clan. I was a senpai, but had to step down due to school. With summer approaching, my activeness will peak. Over my short course of RPing, I've recently began being able to beat nearly every single person in my generation, and have beaten several different senseis in different situations.

My favorite element is Raiton. It is swift and strong, and is one of the fastest nature transformations, and is the fastest of the basic 5. The way that it attacks quickly and directly, and can be used greatly for both offense and defense, appeals to me. As one of my favorite quotes: "Be as fast as lightning, and you will be as deadly."

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: Water is one of Earths most precious elements. Without water there would be no life. Water is a beacon of hope to me it represents the vast creation. Water isn't just an element water is life, water can be from the most gentle caring and best thing you've ever feel but it can also be the worst nightmar you have water is both life but death. From flowing peacefully through the rocks to creating enourmous tidal waves capable of destroying everything in its path water is truly a magnificent element
What is your preferred form of combat: My preferred form of combat is mid/long range seeing that from a distance one can observe not only just your opponent but the battle field everything around and use it to your advantage. Why do you deserve to be Chosen:I deserve to be chosen because for the longest time I kept hearing about custom clans on NB and one clan kept coming back to me all the time and that is the Kiyoshi clan. I believe that I deserve to be selected because I am egar to earn and to use the clans bio and techs and I'd consider it a huge honor and a privilege if I was chosen to be among the greats of kiyoshi.

How committed are you to Joining the Clan: My main purpose for making this application is to seek the wisdom and knowledge that will help me better understand the system of RP we have on the base. I'm not that much of a shameful person to the point where I'd be anything less then loyal and grateful to those choosing to grant me this knowledge. I have heard about this clan and I'd be very grateful if I could join and I'd dedicate as much of my time to it as I possibly can. I'm rather active here on the base so I have the time to be vigilant while in the clan.
Why do you deserve to be Chosen: I'm a moderate member in terms of my skills and knowledge of the RP. I'm not that strong but then again, I'm not that weak. As I said before, I'm here to seek the knowledge to better understand the system and to better myself as an RPer here. I'm very patient and I tend to have a good understanding of the concepts I'm introduced to. I will remain loyal to the clan and in return for being accepted and given the opportunity to learn and better myself I will do anything I can for the clan that my friends and superiors ask of me.
Are you willing to keep a Kiyoshi Clan Bio (which cannot have a KG) for a minimum of 1 year: I would be willing to keep a Kiyoshi clan bio for the minimum requirement of a year. I have Yaminaka bio, I'm not sure if that'll constituted as acceptable, however if I can convert that bio to a Kiyoshi I will but if not I'm not impartial to creating a new bio all together.
In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: Fire is one of the harsher and stronger and more aggressive elements. Although generally associated with destruction, fire is also crucial to life. The nature of fire is aggressive, untamed and it spreads as far as it's influence allows it. Although sometimes aggressive, fire demonstrates power, freedom, and strong will that can influence everything it touches and sometimes for the good. Konoha's concept of the "Will of Fire" exemplifies this as we come to see the characters in the series (Naruto for example) that come from Konoha baring a strong will to never give up, the ability to tap into hidden power inside themselves, and also to influence others to their own way of thinking.
What is your preferred form of combat: Genjutsu, however generally mid-ranged in distance.

How committed are you to Joining the Clan: I currently posses two bios, both that include a KG each, I am fully aware of the Kiyoshi clan requirement, one of those requirements is that the Kiyoshi bio itself cannot be in possession of a KG. Therefore, I will change one of the bios I already have, for that of a Kiyoshi. However, that in itself does not show commitment to its full capacity. I guess words themselves can’t really describe how committed one can be while in the clan. I am quite new to this site yes, and when I was just starting to RP I was searching of all the things people can achieve as they progress further in our RP. One of those was to make a Custom Clan, so being aspiring and eager to know further, I went on and started reading more into these clans, and during one of my researches I spotted the Kiyoshi clan. As I started to read on further about the manipulation of natural energy, and ‘‘Thinking outside the box’’ I started to build a connection with the Kiyoshi clan and really wanted to become a member of it. During these times however, the social forum groups were down and the training had been postponed, thus you guys were no longer accepting any more members into the clan. That though, did not stop me from dreaming, to quote ‘‘A man can always dream’’ One day, while browsing the NB, I came across the fact that the Kiyoshi Clan is resuming its training and activity, well to put it in simple terms, let’s just say I was extremely excited about this news. Because now, it would grant me the opportunity to submit an application, a moment I have been waiting for, and that moment is right now, the moment to prove myself worthy, in join this clan, to become a Kiyoshi myself. Since the week I first learned about the Kiyoshi, whenever people have asked me what my goals on NB was, one of those goals was to make a Kiyoshi bio and undergo training in it. Like I said, words can’t fully express how far one may go when it comes to commitment to join the clan; therefore I hope this entire application can relate to this question, and that you can see through my other answers, why I’d be extremely committed to join the clan.

Why do you deserve to be Chosen: I could be considered a normal member like most of the community, or I could be considered one that goes that extra step. For me personally, I believe I deserve to be in the clan because of the commitment I would provide to the clan. I am again, fully aware that the journey for a Kiyoshi is an incredibly long one, I myself am a very patient person. Just something to say off-topic, when I found out about the Kiyoshi clan coming back, I only asked once about the application thread, I got my answer that it was coming soon. I kept my mouth shut, and I waited until the moment would arrive, and now here I am. The same would apply to the training, I am willing to wait because I know at the end of the day the patience and effort I put into the clan would come straight back at me as a reward. No matter how one may see it, the more patience and effort you put into something, the better it gets at the end of the day. Because, since a clan may only have 25 individuals in it, and here right now you are accepting 8, and the fact this thread itself will have a huge amount of replies. Everyone has slim chances, this is the chance to prove why you are worthy of being in the clan. Also, something that I see from a lot of people these days, is the fact that they swap bios very regularly, changing from ability to ability, trying out new methods of fighting to see which suits them. I already have my mind set, I have my future planned, becoming a Kiyoshi has always been in my eyes. I would never leave the clan to go for a new ability, in fact most people would probably see this application thread as just a normal way of getting power, without thinking through it clearly. Remembering, that being in this clan will not be the same at all as the training you have gathered; You will have to stay, you must not disobey the trust you have gathered. Many people in my gen are being taught extremely quickly, people are mastering the basic 5 elements within 4 months or so. Swapping through teachers and different abilities here and there, I know that is definitely not the deal when it comes to Kiyoshi training, I fully know that this is something out of the ordinary, a rare occasion as one might put. Yet I am here to apply today. Because it is clearly obvious that the pro’s of me being this clan outweigh the cons beyond measure.

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: Well, I am going to explain Earth; my preferred element:
Earth is, an essence of life. It has always been here, it will always remain here, humans live, humans die, times change, people change, but the Earth will always be here. It has been here since the cradle of civilization, it will remain here till the destruction of our world. It has seen it all, it has experienced everything first hand, it is the oldest, wisest thing on this planet. It is calm, collective, and people look to it for help, they sleep on it, they live on it, it is our life. Without Earth, we are nothing, though without us, Earth will still be Earth. The personality of Earth, resembles as someone being calm, someone being extremely strong though not abusing their power, someone who is wise, someone who people look up to, someone who people need. It demonstrates wisdom in someone, it demonstrates power and generosity.

What is your preferred form of combat: Close Combat/Mid-range. I like to keep my opponents on the run, finding ways to think outside the box, be one step ahead of the, knowing what their counter to my move will be, and have something up my sleeve to keep them on running. Making me stay on the higher ground, tricking them, setting up traps, being mysterious.

Why do you deserve to be Chosen: I believe i deserve to be a kiyoshi member. Although i may not have the experience as some members here on the base, what i do have is loyalty and commitment. Whatever i start, I finish. I've been Rping for about 3 months now and i've gotten two elements completed and another one about to be real soon. I've worked extremely hard to get to this point and with a little help from luck. All the requirements to be in the Kyoshi clan, i meet. I am committed to learn the ways of the kyoshi clan and am willing to put the time and effort into it, like i do in all of my other activites whether its on rp or in the real world.

Are you willing to keep a Kiyoshi Clan Bio (which cannot have a KG) for a minimum of 1 year: I've been looking for a clan for my main custom bio, i would most definately make it a Kyoshi Clan member bio, if accepted of course.

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: Fire, the first discovery and my first element and it resembles the burning passion i have to get better in any way i can. Fire is also powerful, i plan on being powerful myself. Also in my eyes, fire means will, the will succeed, the will to get better, the will to when you fail to get back up and try it again.

What is your preferred form of combat: Both opponents go all out elements and customs are a go and terrain is something fun and unusual. I guess just a regular fight or any fight.

How committed are you to Joining the Clan: Well, I remember asking you about it in my earlier RP days, and you said at that time it was full. Given that I've held onto my wish to become a Kiyoshi, I think that's a testament to my willpower to acquire the knowledge of the Kiyoshi arts. I would absolutely love to become a Kiyoshi.
Why do you deserve to be Chosen: I don't think I'm qualified to answer this question. I would absolutely love to have a Kiyoshi bio, and I like to think my RP skills are above average, however ultimately the decision is up to you. It's not fair for me to say, "Nu-oh my GOD, I AM AMAZING LOL I HAVE ALL THESE QUALITIES THAT MAKE ME SO SUITABLE." I suppose for a short answer to the question, I don't deserve to be chosen. I don't think anyone who applies has the inherent right to be chosen.

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: I suppose I'll talk about wind, as it's my preferred element. Wind, is calm, yet destructive simultaneously. Wind and water are the forces that weather everything on this green Earth. It creates new beginnings for everything that it touches. Wind brings life to everything, and in many cases, it takes lives as well. Wind can touch you, and can bring you to places all across the globe. Wind is responsible for flight, which secretly, everyone has a dream about. Wind cleanses the soul of all impurities it could ever harbor, and I couldn't imagine life without it.
What is your preferred form of combat: I can fight in all ranges and styles, however I prefer taijutsu.

How committed are you to Joining the Clan:Very, I have been in the same village for most of my membership, joining iwa back during akatsuki's last attack on konoha. showing I am willing to be in the same place for long periods
I have wanted to have a kiyoshi bio since before signing up on NB, reading an epic, flawless fight of mugi's and later reading Rokus battles. But I have been looking to be in the kiyoshi clan for over a year and don't see anything I would drop a kiyoshi bio for.

Why do you deserve to be Chosen: Because I believe the focus on really understanding each and every part of the narutoverse and chakra as a whole is the basis for understanding not only how techniques work but the limitations and abilities of ninjas themselves, leading to the most realistic possible Rp. The kiyoshi clan is not about crazy overpowering of others and pointless violence, but understanding chakra and the soul of ninjas, which I think is a better way to immerse yourself in a bio and your RPing. And I am a member that would not abuse the abilities of the clan and would work to obtain the status of an amazingly skilled RPer, not just in battle but as a member all around.

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements:
Fire is Rebirth. Its the element of transformation. It takes in form (like Wood, Earth and Air) and transforms it (carbon dioxide, coal, heat, light etc). Its an element that both destroys and creates. It has no physical substance yet is the source of life all over the planet. The phoenix comes to mind as its endless life personifies fire, born from its own ashes to eventually burst into flames and rise again.
Fire is an element that requires control. If not, it can overwhelm and consume its wielder. In some mythologies its also the element that joined Water and Earth and made them create Life. Its ultimate manifestation is the Sun which in return represents all aspects of Fire to its extreme.
What is your preferred form of combat: Short-mid, a combination of Water release, genjutsu and taijutsu which I am trying to perfect on my 2nd Mizukage bio, having a Hozuki CFS and many customs for gen and water.

How committed are you to Joining the Clan: I'm committed enough to try as hard as possible to get in. In the case that this gets declined, I'm committed to work an even longer and better discussion next time around. I would love to be a part of this great organization and I would stay on here all week to try to join it.

Why do you deserve to be Chosen: I think I deserve to be chosen because I believe I'm a very quick learner and I do love to learn more about anything really. Also, once I pick up on something, (I.E: The Kiyoshi's way of doing things), I try to quicken the pace, usually leading to more of an upbeat tempo, and being more upbeat should lead to our clan having a better way of doing things and having more fun in doing it. I believe if I'm accepted, I could potentially learn enough to help add on to the Kiyoshi clan's style and grace by making us all more happy and pumped (in a way of saying it).

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: Fire. Fire is a blazing commodity that welcomes all visitors. Fire isn't an object, it isn't a force that accepts control, it fights back. It can take other elements and strengthen itself by being THE controller. It absorbs wind into it's already strong system and uses it as a follower that can and will be sacrificed for the greater good. But alas, where fire is given life and will take life from the air, the mistress of water can put down the blazing light. Water, the liquid of where we all go to, puts out the fire like a cigarette is to a person's shoe. Water takes away the component, oxygen, that the fire steals from the air, therefore stopping the develish fire before it could grow into a monster. But fire does burn as well. Look at wood for example, wood, the bark of the tree, is made of components that fire actually has, so the fire takes away more from the wood and slowly leaves the dry wood into nothing but burnt ash. Fire has another dangerous ability other than it's power to grow in minutes: it's heat. When a fire gets at least to a middle amount of energy, it can actually cause frozen things to simply turn back into water and evaporate the water. Ice is incapable of being near hot things, and seeing as how fire is the hottest element around, it liquefies the solid water into unshaped water. But what happens when fire can fuse with another element evenly? It can make much stronger and disastrous forces of nature. Lava, Boil, and Dust Release are all things that have and need fire to be proper. Lava fuses the Earth element and Fire to a molded super-heated rock that is capable of being a simple burst or a huge stream. Boil is a super-heated gas that is made of the huge enemies, Fire and Water. The Vapor of Boil Release boils nothing, but is just really hot. Finally, Dust, which is made of Earth, Wind, and Fire. The Dust is mostly compromised of the Wind, but the particles in it is melted down, super heated, earth, that apparently is hot enough to destroy mainly anything on a cellular level. That's it for my fire.

What is your preferred form of combat: My main specialty would be mid-range brutal tactics that would usually leave a teammate open for an easier kill.

How committed are you to Joining the Clan: Well ever since i have got into the Naruto base RP i have been able to have some decent fights with some people. One of such encounters includes one with the member of the kiyoshi clan (Mugiwara). His abilities and battle prowess left me in awe. Ever since that encounter i have always wanted to be a part of this elite clan. I am totally committed to joining this clan. I currently have a biography that is pretty much void of any special ability. I would like it to join the kiyoshi clan.
Why do you deserve to be Chosen: Because i have been a part of the base for more than one year now. I am also well versed in most of the basic elements, as such I have a pretty good knowledge of chakra control. I have been part of some enticing battles against Nero and some sensies. In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: Well i would like to explain the Earth element, since it is one of my preferred elements. This element is the element of decisiveness. It's the element known for defense. This element is the rock solid uniformity. It symbolizes determination but not aggression. People who have mastered the earth develop some special qualities similar to earth. Thus people with mastery over earth style are known to be

• Persistent and
• Enduring

It's an element that has sustained and supported life. Unlike other elements which give in to change the earth element is the only one that resists change of any kind.

How committed are you to Joining the Clan:
From day 1, I have always admired the Kiyoshi. I am intrigued by the clan's deeper understanding of chakra and especially your philosophical teachings - something that I am very curious about. I know that becoming a Kiyoshi clansman will require alot of hard work and I am very sure that I can give it as I would not have applied for this if I felt that I could not do so. Put simply, I am fascinated by the Kiyoshi. I am committed and willing to go through anything and everything you throw at me, to get a chance to learn your teachings.

Why do you deserve to be Chosen:
I am an active member who has great interest and passion for RPing and NB in general - My initial experience in the RP was not that great as I had trouble finding senseis and sempais that were willing to teach me but Ive worked hard and given it my all since day 1 and am now quite close to reaching my goals that I had set out to achieve back then. I am a fast learner, or at the very least, a very eager and curious learner who always gives 100% in everything I do. My goal is to become a Sensei one day and to help new members as much as possible; to hopefully pass on the knowledge given to me by my teachers and contribute back to the RP.

The teachings of the Kiyoshi clan is shrouded in mystery and I would love to dive into and explore its greatness. It would definitely expand the already RP knowledge and passion I have to the fullest. And I know that this is the perfect stepping stone to fully commit myself to the RP. In terms of the RP, this is probably my ultimate goal. I believe that I fulfill most of your basic requirements: I'm an active member of the RP and the forum in general, have a good online time and Im a good student (hard working, very curious and somewhat intelligent).

Well, Im still developing my style of combat so to speak as I feel as though I have not peaked as an RPer yet. Ive always had a keen interest in genjutsu which used to be my preferred way to fight. However at present, Ive been exploring and experimenting with how the 5 elements relate with one another - especially those that don't have a direct relationship with one another (i.e. not the obvious Water -> Fire -> Wind -> Lightning -> Earth -> Water circle, but how water relates to wind for example.)

(Not lying) it was the first custom clan I saw and found it cool. My mentors are also a part of it, and I always look up on it. I shall quit NB if I ever betray it.

Why do you deserve to be Chosen: Well firstly, it has been a hard time on the base. Training, fighting, and all are wearysome but, improve us. I havent had too much training or such, but I think being active and hardworking, I can have a good name for it. I can develop my skills if not enough. I am eager to learn and have been doing so. In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements: Earth. Expressing philosophically, earth denotes people who are tough, and have gone through their life and problems strong and unmoving. Earth denotes the ability to remain strong in any problem or cope through any difficulties with strength and dignity.

What is your preferred form of combat: Well, I put a lot of thinking on the opening moves and how they can be used for putting further pressure on the opponents. My favorite element is fire, and well, I use moves that cannot be exactly thrown back at me, and prefer Mid-Range.

Why Do You Deserve To Be Chosen :

I been waiting eagerly for a much-like higher chance of joining the Kiyoshi clan through an application thread or such but it never came until this day. I believe I been asking to join in late 2010 or early 2011 and had given up my attempt to join since I learned ever since becoming a sensei that getting numerous visitors message isn't something someone will like. I know this probably doesn't matter since it has happened with probably most of the members of Narutobase so I am really just a regular roleplaying member requesting to join your clan. I am also interested in how the Kiyoshi Clan learning method works. As a matter of fact, I have actually never experienced being in a clan led by a Narutobase member. Though I heard back then, if you had a Senju or Uchiha biography, you would join a social group where a guy led the Uchihas or Senju or a clan into battle with another clan.

Yes, I am willing as to keep it. Before I had my Jinchuuriki biography, I only had a plain Gaara biography for I believe 9 months, more or less. Like Kiyoshi to Gaara, Musical Arts was Sand. I still do have a Gaara biography up to this date and had actually thought about dropping it but I was just so attached to Gaara I couldn't bear the idea of dropping him and the same will go for the Kiyoshi biography.

In the most philosophical way you can, explain any one of the five elements :

Earth, strong, sturdy and can't complain. However much you provoke it, step on it, jump on it, it'll never fight back. Though not everybody can remain peaceful, there is always somebody crossing that certain 'line' and it has occurred to the earth or ground, dirt, whatever you may call it. Construction, pollution, mining and more. All this are like acts of rape or harassment to humans as it is to the Earth. There exists earthquakes, fissures, landslides and many more that I can't ever remember to list. This just shows how angry and powerful the Earth can be and some may even be a little curious, wanting to see these powers of the Earth in action but no matter how hard one may try to push the Earth, it'll never fall to their level or fall literally for it stands strong, never obeying another person but itself. Though if one were to have the ability to possess Earth, he or she will have it protect themselves as for Earth is like a caretaker, sheltering all who stands on it and more to a person who it obeys.

What is your preferred form of combat :

Using Sand Style at Mid-Long range but if Sand is disallowed then short range free form taijutsu.

How committed are you to Joining the Clan: I'd like to think that I am fairly committed to everything I go about in my life, and joining this clan would be no different. This clan has been of great interest to me over the last few months, and now I finally have the chance to join it. If admitted into the clan i will not disappoint by dropping it in a few months like most others would do, and keep the biography for as long as possible. I also do not find interest in any of the other abilities offered for my custom character, Kuzan. While I could have gone the ice route, I refused, and aside from recently making him into a samurai, he was just a regular character. This clan presents the opportunity to break from the norm of biographies, and to create something a little more personal.

Why do you deserve to be Chosen: I believe that I deserve to be chosen because I fit all the criteria asked for. I will remain in the clan as long as possible, I rarely ever switch up my biographies and when I do it's never the one of my custom character, the only time I've changed his abilities is when I made him into a samurai rather than just a basic ninja. I am also very good when it comes to understanding, learning, and having patience in the RP. I started RP'ing a little over a year ago and still have not finished my training. While some of it is due to the ability to find training, I have never once complained about not having completed my training, and have been patient waiting. I also would like to think I am very committed to learning and understanding in the RP, I take time to write my descriptions during training and I always make sure to ask how a technique can be used and how it is most effective (on IRC or MSN). As for skill, obviously this is a factor in my interest in the clan as most members of it are good RP'ers but it isn't the main reason for my interest. I do want to become more skillful in the RP, but I'm more interested in applying the learned techniques and abilities in the right way rather than being extremely powerful.

Fire is something that could not only be considered an unrelenting force, but also something of rebirth and beauty. It's something that has multiple meanings, it can be used to destroy but it can also be used to create life. Without fire the world as we know it would cease to exist, it is a necessary element in life.

What is your preferred form of combat: Kenjutsu, and close range combat, something that requires a lot of description.
