right, which should we start with? the forbidden tech is one that requires quite a different kind of training... so i don't know if u'll want to sort out the basic jutsus first.
*walks over to the lake by us and scoops out a few buckets of water. i place one infront of me*
this is a very special technique, the handseals are performed by a single hand. and after the handseals clenching the hand freezes the water what you are focussed on. it's quite isolated and can't be used on large amounts of water.
*holds my hand up so hasashi can see my hand seals clearly*
look at my hand not the water so you know what to do.
*i begin performing the handseals while focussing on the water in the bucket*

Description: while the opponent is wet or an object with 2 one-handed handseals i can clench my hand after the handseals to freeze any specific area i focus on such as a foot on water or in a puddle, or a wet hand on a sword. this freezes them to the object either to slow them down or to prevent an action. (both mist and rain can be used for this jutsu)
any frozen situation such as object to hand or foot to floor cannot change until their next turn when the ice thaws.

the main section of this training is maintaining your focus after you learn the handseals... copy my handseals but focus on the bucket
*drags over another waterfilled bucket for hasashi*
alrightio *inhales deeply and watches you hand signs closely
performs them a few times without focusing any chakra till i master them
then i close my eyes and place my hand on the water. I make the hand selas with one hand while with the other i focus my ice chakra into the water
once i complete the seals i clench my fist focussing more chakra into the water in an attempt to freeze it*
it's a good job you didn't freeze it... with your hand on the water you'd be stuck to it O_O
i'll give you a tip, do the handseals first, your hand doesn't need to be near the water, you produce a seemingly small wave of cold temperature that can't be seen, all you have to do is focus...
when you look in the bucket, forget about the bucket, there is only water... it is not one lump it is fluid, millions of droplets, you need to understand this and focus on the water, you can't achieve the freeze unless you maintain focus otherwise your chakra won't be focussed, it'll disperse in the air and do nothing.

ok *closes my eyes and i inhale deeply
i look down at the water focussing on only the water the millions of droplets inside it
i continue focussing hard on the water as i bring my other hand up and preform the hand signs i then clench my fist focussing all my chakra onto the water attempting to freeze it*
good, but that water is only close, lets try something more challenging now...
*dips my hand in some water whilst clutching a kunai*
right! it's more difficult but there's plenty of water on my hand between me and the kunai.
*walks back 30 paces*
your task is to freeze the kunai to my hand. remember to focus, see where all the water is to be frozen. you know where it is, even if it's not in plain sight, look through the kunai.
go!
(remember, focus, handseals, keep focussing, clench)
alright *once again i close my eyes and inhale deeply
i then look at your hand focussing on the water completely ignoring the kunai and your hand
i bring my other hand up and continue focussing on the water as i make each hand seal
i then release all my chakra while focussing on the water and i clench my fist in an attempt to freeze the water*
*frost forms around my hand slightly freezing me to the kunai*
not bad for a first attempt ^^
*pulls off the kunai and dips my hand ready for another attempt*
again, remembering to see the water through the kunai, you know it's there, your sight and logic is the only thing stopping you... you have to unlearn what you know ^^

*once again i focus chakra onto my chakra and concentrate on the water in your hand
completely ignoring the kunai i focus my chakra onto the water and preform the hand signs
sending an invisible chill through the air (or my chakra) as i complete my hand signs i clench my fist and release my chakra in an attempt to freeze the water*

as you can see this can be good for disrupting an opponents movement, such as freezing their food to the ground or disrupting someone's handseals till they break free.
if used right it could be very effective.

yes i think i can use it in VERY effective ways
xDi guess the floating ice island jutsu
ok this is not so different to flash frost, it uses 2 handed handseals however, but you use moisture in the air as a base to create a floating platform.*imagines freezing roku's saki as he drinks this*

*performs handseals and expels chakra from my hands creating a floating platform of ice*
basically perform the handseals and use the mosture in the air to latch your ice chakra onto. if you shape it right it can look like this. the chakra within the ice jutsu you created is what keeps it floating.
if you wanted to build a house, you need a foundation to build on, the water in the air is your foundation to create an even shape.

then i focus my chakra into the air focusing on the water molecules in the air latching my ice chakra onto it i make the hand signs and using shape manipulation i attempt to form a platform of ice floating in the air*
that's actually a quite nicely shaped small platform. now keep focussing and build to it... with practice u'll do it in a split second and be able to do it mid jump.
