Just because it's in the shape of a kyuubi claw doesn't mean it isn't a shockwave.

He did that in base mode. The shape is irrelevant and it's clearly not made out of chakra.

like everyone else said its a claw. Plus, he was facing the same way as sarada on her left side before the attack but in the pic he has clearly turned to his right while swinging which is what the kyuubi claw indicates.

Sasuke fapper. If he wanted to use Kyubbi chakra he does not even need to move. He has shown this in last chapter. So according to you, he uses Kyubbi chakra to make a paw like attack in base and then goes Kyubbi Mode just for kicks? Narutos control has gotten even better then, it may not be wrong to assume its a shockwave but theres nothing wrong with saying its a claw either, especially when it looks like one.

Naruto using the kyuubi chakra started in base, but he was in V1. Now unless you can show me Naruto using the kyuubi's chakra claw in Base, this point is moot.

Not at all. It's clearly base Naruto creating a claw out of either chakra, or fuuton. But we know it's not Kyuubi's chakra since he is in Base.

So until proven otherwise, anything else is speculation. The only thing we do know was that it isn't kyuubi's chakra, otherwise there would be some sort of influence on his body whether it be a chakra cloak, or the Kyuuib's slanted eyes.

It's Kyuubi claw most likely. Bee does the same thing with the 8 tails tentacle, he even turned only his fist into the 8 tails arm to stop A's punch. Naruto had incomplete training with KM in the war arc but now he had 12 years to train and master it. He used the claw to block the incoming attacks then went BM to block the new coming attacks. They usually say a jutsu name when using it, especially when we first see it.
