Kishi's plan for Sakura?

Ok...so bare in mind this is probably about as farfetched an idea as there can be...but what if Naruto did give Sakura a chakra cloak, and Kishi just has her hanging out at the rear of the Alliance to help speed heal everyone with a chakra cloak powered medical ninjutsu? (Along with other medical ninja of course). Keep in mind...I'm not sure how the cloak will affect medical ninjutsu lol. Although it might explain why we didn't see her in the chapter. Am I just mental for thinking this? Or does it hold a tiny grain of merit?
