-people must be really shallow if they keep saying money. As a future writer, I'm a bit annoyed by that. Story telling is an art, and even if you don't intend any special meaning, it will reflect parts of your self.
But anyway, the theme that was most prevalent to me was how the cycle of hatred will continue as long we continue to respond to hate with more hate, it will never end. A lesson I learned in my life. The other big theme I liked was how we all have to grow up and be the mentors for the next generation, because they ultimately inherit everything we leave behind, the good and the bad, from our hopes and love to our grudges and problems. There's a bunch of others I haven't even covered yet.

Edit:Btw I its nice to see another person from Chicago on here.

I think its that you always get further with love than hatred.
Though hate can be a great motivator and the end it consumes you a makes you a slave to the power.

Real power, strength, and motivation comes from a free heart and what you come from does not define you

His real meaning? To build his career doing what he loves. This is just the story he came up with this time. He's not on a mission to change the world. But the major themes in the series are: Loyalty, hardwork, and compassion.
I agree with this, been noticing you in other threads, you be having some pretty interesting things to say miss, almost always precise and to the point, +rep

actually, this is just for entertainment,a story about a boy who trying to become Hokage and save his friend,2 main storylines
i pretty sure it is that becuz when Kishis start Naruto, the story isnt like this,if u read the "orginal" Naruto,he has 9 tails in human mode, and he can transform to a bat to go down to the moutain for something, and in that old series, they have Ichiraku Ramen too,and after that Kishis remake the story, turn the nine tail into a demon but he did brough the Ichiraku ideas on,so ... yeh,if u compare with the first Naruto series he made,MOST manga are just for entertainment even Naruto

people keep lead towards money and jst to do something... most people dont do things jst to do them... and yea money could be apart of somethings but its not always the main reason
But it's true. Getting into the manga/anime business is extremely hard. Usually if an artist can get their foot in the door they only have 1 successful or even published series. Kishi has done other manga but Naruto is his one successful series. Naruto wasn't even his first, it just appeals to the masses and now that's its going he's not going to stop it because if he does, he probably won't get another chance like this.

ok i can give u that for naruto but not for shippuden because if u look at them its almost lik to different concepts, cause i mean lik shippuden hooks people to it in a way naruto didnt i mean its lik he put more meaning in shippuden and different leasons that people can learn from and relate to... so at first it was all about getting started bt i think it became more personal because he had the opprotunity to create meaning because he expanded the story in shippuden off of naruto's fame.. if that makes sense xd

o and nice to meet u shyarkugan glad there r other ppl here tht i knw is goin through this snow with me lol

Well of course there are major themes in the series, it's true of every series, but the themes in part 1 and part 2 are exactly the same. Part 2 is just more grown up and better quality. It's one of those rare cases where the sequel is actually better than the original. Like Scary movie 1 and 2 :D

well kinda but part 1 didnt hav that much meaning cause nothin happend and lets fac it when susake left part 1 had no more important things happened then in part 2 came naruto started to develop more mature so yea in a sense ur right but i think that could have been kishis plan the whole time to develop more of a meaning when naruto got older and could think lik that lol

every author has a meaning for making a story that he want to get to his reader/viewer. What do u think was Kishi's meaning to get out to his viewers??

in my opinion i think he is trying to show how true hard work, dedication, and the ability to never give up on ur dreams, no matter the adverisy, can lead to true success.

If you cant think of a reason for why he would make it why dont u say what really draws u to naruto that other shows dont have
I think the same "never give up!".

i think that the moral of it all is that even the most beastly person is a individual that need compassion. we were made to take and give compassionately.
