Remember Gaara's treatment after he lost Shukaku? He went from being below mid level Akatsuki to being stronger then the likes of Nidaime Mizukage overnight. Same thing will happen to Naruto, thats typical Shonen story line where the hero looses a power only to gain something far greater.

I think Naruto loosing Kurama is equivalent to Sasuke loosing his CS and white snake powers for the MS. We all knew that when Sasuke looses Oro's powers he would compensate with something else.
