Looks like Kishimoto can't win no matter what he does...well, you can't please everyone.
If he chooses the obvious plot line. Then he is too predictable and a bad writer...
If the readers can't guess whats going to happen next, then he must be making everything up as he goes and he is a bad writer...
foreshadowing is not the only advanced technique in telling a story, there is a thing called red-herring...the goal of which is to intentionally throw the reader off and keep them guessing...With the who's behind the mask plot-line he red herring the readers so bad that know it all readers were calling anyone that even mentioned Tobi and Obito in the same sentence stupid...he succeeded with his red-herring gambit(Ironic since one of the first things Team 7 learned was to look underneath the underneath)
The Naruto is the Sage reincarnated could just be another redherring...it is arrogant to try to say kishimoto is just making stuff up as he goes, because we don't know what he planned or not...more often than not people try to 'ghost write' the story after being fooled by a redherring...Say Danzo has one sharingan eye like Tobi so he must be Tobi...but then this is disproved, they get mad and call 'asspull'
Madara an Uchiha who possessed Ems gaining access to rennegan after getting Hashirama dna(foreshadowing for Sasuke) Then sasuke getting something from Hashirama (More foreshadowing)
The Rennegan glaring at the Juubi from Inside Naruto could have simply been symbolism of Naruto inheriting the Sage's will...or the sage could have been inside him watching over him since he has Ashura...
Point is unless we are Kishimoto or a member of the group that helps him create Naruto...we don't know what his intentions are or what he has already plotted out....
