Once upon a time there was Naruto sasuke sakura kiba rock lee even gaara and kankuro and all of a sudden BUTSUMA TAJIMA?? Haha!! Really kishi?? Why add screentime to characters that will die anyway, when you could have added unique powerups and side plots for us to think about. It seems like forever since we have seen Sasuke's powerups, well its been ten damn years since this was first released and all we see is a regurgitated amaterasu and susanoo, ohhh soooooo unique kishi. Contradictions: When you first thought of the 1st Hokage you saw him as a serious person right??? All of a sudden he is revived and appears goofy, still very strong but he's the COMPLETELY OPPOSITE in attitude of how he was pictured before. Is this due to the anime screwing with our minds? Same thing with Obito, when he's a child he is kind of slow and childish except right before he dies he seems to be like an honorable and good hero. Magically: Evil genius masked man; thirteen years old WITH A DEEP VOICE (really?), capable and daring enough to take on his own sensei, controlling the 95% almost full powered kyuubi?? Kishimoto: Plot? NEVER HEARD OF IT! :rage:

I agree with you about the sasuke part..I was so excited when the story jumped back to him but now were in a hashi and madara flash back...WHO CARES?!in the end they'll be dead just the same.on a postive and slightly off topic note,I have a theory sasuke will fight one of the former hokage

Sasuke asked for the origin and meaning of the village and Hashi is explaining the origin and meaning of the village.... problem?

As for Hashi being a serious person...... people knew them only by his fame while very few people lives who knows him personally so naturally the real Hashirama will be different from the Hashirama painted in NV history books. Also if I m reading the manga right Hashirama aint a continuously goofy character... he gets serious when situation calls for it.

As for Obito..... the manga explained Obito's case i dont need to reiterate.

Little advice if u dont like it dont watch it..... you can come back after few months and catch up.

kishi may have mistakes in his plot but one thing i don't agree w/ is what you said about flashbacks on butsuma tajima. yes, they will die anyway but think of it as a necessary add on for us to understand madara & whatever made him that vengeful of everyone. flashbacks are history, & yes they will remain history but they make you understand the present, & with that you learn how to deal w/ the present because you learned something from the past. isn't that's what it's supposed to be? even sasuke feels the importance of history because he wants to fully understand the present state of things he is in & sees now in the present time. he feels the need to know history to understand why his brother had to die & why he has to endure things just because of things established in the past.

and i'd like to quote harry potter, in what he always told ron..that what others think are great & awesome aren't that great when they happened, e.g., him beating voldemort at the mirror of erised & him killing the basilisk. i'm mentioning harry potter in relation to how we perceive hashirama & heroes in general. yes, we call them great & awesome but what we forget is that they are humans, no matter how great they are. they laugh, joke, make mistakes, are reprimanded by their younger brothers...just like ordinary people..they are ordinary people...though they have done extraordinary things.

Its okay bro.... Still the story is interesting.... TBH if this would have been a novel you might not have felt so.... The problem is that the War arc has strecthed really long.... i.e. more than a year.... That makes many think that Kishi isn't showing power ups of many characters.... Like you said Sasuke.... Kishi sama himself said this last year that he wanted to focus more on Kakashi but couldn't.... Even Sakura's character is suffering.... But eventually all flashbacks and old characters and everything when added up will make awesome manga arc for sure.... :D :D
