I honestly think so. The pacing picked up dramatically this year, after years of build up, and there was random stuff that doesn't make sense: the castle being in every dimension and Kaguya building an army, after conquering the world, and back story on why she got to this point.
It's like Bleach: Ichigo returns from the royal palace, saves Kenpachi, and then has to chase Baach back up to the royal palace?
It feels like the editors are telling Kubo and Kishimoto to wrap the series up. In Kishi's war, the last two years epic battles have been skipped over. The same thing is happening in Bleach now.
