Has anyone noticed that the four tails resembles an ape/monkey, and is named Son, Goku. I believe this is Kishimoto's way of showing appreciation to the creator if "Dragon Ball", Akira Toriyama. Seeing how the main character of DBZ's name is Son Goku, and he transforms to a giant ape. Not only this, but those who reserved the upcoming game "Ninja Storm 3" will get a serial downloadable version of Naruto that's wearing, Goku's signature, orange, and blue outfit, which by the way are the colors f Naruto's signature outfit as well "hint, hint". If you don't believe there isn't some sort of a link between these, Kishi himself has said he respects Toriyama, and that hes tried to incorporate aspects of DBZ into Naruto, from the cartoonish style of art, to character development, and plot detail. I've even seen an interview of Kishimoto calling him, Toriyama sensei.

I just thought I'd through these details out there. I don't know if this threads been posted before. I'm not trying to do a repeat. Sorry if it has though.

Give any other thoughts on the subject, or details I may have missed that link the two together. I'd be interested in hearing some more similarities.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!

Kishi has taken SO MANY ideas from DBZ(G.O.A.T.), hell practically every author has!
DBZ(G.O.A.T.) is the GREATEST INSPIRATION to so many authors. E.G. Kishi(Naruto) Oda(OP) Hiro(FT) ETC...

Well by saying "not gonna say use the search bar next time", you pretty much said to use the search bar next time. You just shouldn't have wrote it. I hate when in a post one person says one thing, and then people read it, and they say the same exact thing pretty much. I've basically have four people telling me this is widely known, but they forget to realize a younger generation got into Naruto, by the time DBZ was pretty much done with. I'm 22 I've been watching DBZ since 1995, and have been reading naruo since it started, I own the very first shonen jump that was released in America. A lot of the people who watch are very young, and probably have never watched a episode of DBZ in there life, what a shame.
