I love Kishimoto's symbolism man. The guy is arguably the best at it.

The best one I can think of is the pain arc, Konoha destruction. Notice how everything got destroyed but the Hokage faces. Basically saying, "Pain, nu uh biotch you can't touch us." lmaoo =D

Do you like Kishimoto's symbolism use, and where do you rate him in it?

It was more to do with Pain not even aiming for them.

But yeah, the man pulls symbolism off without a hitch.

It's true, Kishi is good with symbolism. Like what you said, the Hokage monument wasn't destroyed and so the dreams and the Will Of Fire from past generations did not end with that attack. It's one of the best things I like about Kishi; the time he puts into this stuff.

Now. . If only he spent maybe on of those many week breaks he likes to take to think up a better war....

Kishi is easily the best with symbolism. He even puts it in the summons, techniques characters use, even their names mean stuff.

Very "outside the box" type of thinker. He's one of the best storytellers I've seen mostly because he can implement those ideas and symbolic meanings properly.

It's sad he's not taking the story as seriously as he used to. Still amazing nonetheless U_U
