I disagree. It's obvious that Kishi hasn't been putting as much work into this manga in recent years. Since the start of the war, things took a noticable decline. Akatsuki ninja with immortal bodies and constantly regenerating chakra reserves are being taken out by no names. The war is being fought by Zetsu clones, enemys that just run up and glomp you to death.
Any Edo of significance is either trolled, or Naruto takes him out. And we never truly see these battles, only overviews. And Madara was a good and fun villain until he broke free from Edo tensei. After that, he sort of got boring for me.
Obito was good up until the end of the "Tobi" vs Kakashi fight. His attitude seemed to change from what I liked about Tobi and into what is "Obito" today.
Kabuto was butt****ed by Izanami, a plot device at its finest. Orochimaru comes back and is now good? Sasuke's change I can tolerate... But OROCHIMARU'S?! And then Sakura's late ass power up, I like it. But it should have come about when Naruto got Sage Mode.
Kishi is a good writer, I agree. But I think it's obvious he needs a few people to discuss the plot with. And if he already has a few, get more. Because there are things he seems to just cram in that he could have atleast foreshadowed earlier in the series. And I think most of us are upset with the current battle. No one takes the Juubi seriously, Madara is boring and not a threat... There's no action. At all.
The only way this story is getting exciting is if Obito comes back and ****s shit up, somehow disses Madara or betrays him. And if Orochimaru plays his cards as a villain and sets up for a trap/sneak attack for when Obito is dealt with.
Just MY opinion. You, obviously have a different one.
