But from where I'm standing Kishi made it quite clear that Sasuke has no chance for the Hokage seat and also he said that's he'll finish Naruto[series] on a really strong note, so I see Naruto as the Hokage who brought peace to all of NV! [hopefully after killing Sasuke though U_U]

Looks like, Kishimoto doesn't even like Naruto as a Hokage Candidate. I also love the fact that the interview's main highlight was Sasuke - as always, a driving force behind the manga. Nothing he said is not already known to a decent character analyzer - Sasuke's intentions within the compass of Self are pure, as this is what everything and every action always revolves around.

Seriously, how old are you, or most of you, for that matter? As Kishimoto said - the MOST mature part of the entire interview was about Sasuke - that it's the ideals that determine the reasons. He even highlighted the perspectives. For Sasuke, the fight is personal, they were his kith and kin, he had every right to bring the fight to Konoha's door-step.

The fact that the author views Sasuke's actions as justified and pure is exactly what I have been voicing all along - political agendas pale before your personal plight. All this nonsense is without merit, as there is not a single person in the manga who isn't self-centered. I challenge anyone to bring out that person, because most of you have no idea about what it means to add Less to the Personal pronoun Self.

I agree with his take on Sasuke. He's got flaws but that's good, it's good to have flaws because they make a character more interesting. Definitely one of the better written characters in the manga.

People will come up with their own interpretations and own observations after reading this interview.
I think the interviewer was actually not so good prepared as he left many points untouched, one of them being Sakura other one being comparison with various other mangas(I don't know if interviewer was told to not ask such questions).:|
Still it was good to listen Kishi's take on everything, as he no doubt a creator of this manga.

Loved it. Guess this means he's figured out how to connect the ending he had in mind for Naruto. I remember a few years ago he said his ending was set in stone, but he couldn't figure out how to get there.
