Also the time before Konoha was founded with story surrounding Senju and Uchiha

Unless it is explained in the manga later on, I want to learn about what happened to Rin, so I'm going with second option.

Kishi should make a spin off titled, "Deus Ex Tobirama". Make it about Tobirama killing Gods from the Cosmos.
