I personally don't agree with the movie section having its own thread. And I know most who post outside of it don't either. The thing is the movie is canon material, meaning its over a chapter of the manga. It should not be squeezed into one section. I know that it has its section, but I don't need to agree with it. I mean what your saying could go for anything on here. We see Uchiha fanbases making threads to one up one another when they have there own section to discuss there fanbase. Yet they don't. They come out and post topics about it. That means some people don't feel the need to squish it all in one section. The mods can try and enforce the people, but what they cannot do is force the people to do something they don't wanna do. In the end it will be members who will decide how this place should be run or will be most effective. The mods can only pitch in when it matters. It does not mean there method of doing it is right, because the results is obviously in front of you.
Sorry, quote thing isn't working. :|
I can sort of agree, but I think it makes sense because a lot of spoilers get posted here, when they should be posted there in order to not spoil it for people whom don't wish to be spoiled. But, meh on that.
It's "cannon", but you could safely skip it and it wouldn't affect anything; how many other series "show what happens in the gap between the epilogue and main story?" - Rhetorical. It's a justification for more people to see the movie, they think they will miss out on important info which is doubtful but could happen. As stated; it's all about the pairings. It is still technically "filler" as it fills in the gap, being "699.5". It is a fan service movie that will retcon the NaruHina development which is why it's cannon.
I am actually unsure if people that make the threads most of the time
are apart of the "bases" groups tbh. I know that we (IB and Madara "base" (not called that)) do use our group discussion. I think that most of that crap is started by trolls looking for that sort of thing.
That's true, though it is entailed in the "moderator" title to do just that; moderate the forum. In saying that, I get that they get sick and tired of the amount of crap and sometimes cbf cleaning up the garbage. Tbh, I think that it'd be a good feature (likely impossible) to have a thread automatically deleted/closed if it had a certain percentage/majority of down votes. It'd make the mod's time easier. It could work like the NB bot with infractions.
Indeed.
