That is true but this was a interview of Kishi, that mentioned pairings. So basically it was for anyone that wanted to read his interview.

Regardless if those places are amusing to you or not fact is they are repetitive, and they are no better than pairing threads. If this base had any better threads than these I would agree with you. But the thing is they don't. So you should not blame just the pairings threads for this place's downfall.
