There's much more similarities than that and I don't know why people even try refuting that "Naruto is not a rip-off/inspiration of HxH.", Kishi. HIMSELF said it in a interview that he's a fan of the series and it inspired him a lot. Anyways here are the similarities:

-Oro. = Hisoka
-Itachi = Illumi (FOR F*CK SAKE HISOKA & ILLUMI ARE TEAMMATES AND ITACHI & ORO. WERE "TEAMMATES" AT ONE POINT TILL ITACHI R@PED HIM AND KISAME FILLED IN. Which is the difference but still it's a similarity)
-Sasuke's goals are similar to Kurapika's
-Sasuke's abilities are similar to Killua's
-Kakashi is similar to Wing. Wing taught Gon/Killua the basics of nen and Kakashi taught Naruto/Sasuke the basics of Chakra
-Akatsuki is similar to the Phantom Troupe
-Sakura is the "Leorio" of the group but she's useless
-Both Gon and Naruto barely don't know their fathers and they're extremely powerful in their respective verse
-The shar. is pretty much an inspiration from the scarlet eyes
-Chunin Exam arc is similar to the Hunter exams arc.
-Naruto's tournament arcs shares slight similarities to the Heaven's arena arc. (inb4yousayit'sdonebeforesoitdoesn'tcount)
-Chaos at Konaha in part 1 Naruto can be inspired from the chaos at YorkNew city in HxH


ETC. ETC. ETC. Only a narutard would say what you just said even AFTER watching/reading a substantial amount of HxH.

• Hisoka = Orochimaru. Meh, more or less
• Kurapika & Killua = Sasuke? Only Kurapika's powers, and Sasuke's personality was similar to them in like part 1
• Illumi = Itachi? Have you passed from the 100th chapter?
• Hunter exams = Genin exams? Cuz Togashin invented exams... even though there are some similarities
• Kurta Clan = Uchiha Clan. True
• Panthom Troupe = Akatsuki? The only similarity is them being villain groups...
• Nen = Chakra? Okay now you've fallen
• Biscuit = Sakura? I think you mean Tsunade, too bad Biscuit is super ugly
• Kaitou = Kakashi? Only similarity is both being badasses...
• Gon's team = Team 7? Again teams weren't invented by Togashi
• Killua's bloodthirst = Sasuke's hatred? Again, Togashi didn't invent characters that have a urge to kill
• Godspeed = Teleporting? I can't even... there's literally no similarity...

If there's core differences, it's still original writing, and even if it's somewhat different, it's a variation. A copy is something with virtually no differences, and let me tell you, there's tons of differences from Naruto and HxH. If you say it's cut and paste in most stories, most characters, and most powers, you're border-line retarded or simply to biased to acknowledge reality.

I never said he copied? I said it was an inspiration/template. It does share parallels. I don't think Naruto is a complete "rip off" or even a rip off from HxH. It does share many inspirations/similarities. Don't get confused with what the OP said and my post.
