my bro says the anime is not accurate and you have to read the manga, no matter what because kishi said it in a "lost" interview that i cant seem to find anywhere after searching for an 1hr.. google and everything.. BUT the people on "narutobase" can easily post these documents. im like "where did they get there info from?" but nevertheless im still here asking.. IS THE ANIME INACCURATE AND IF SO I NEED SOME PROOF CUZ THAT SOUNDS PREPOSTEROUS TO ME.

Some People underestimate the how canon the anime is just because kishi didn't have much to do with it... Imo it shouldn't matter as long as it makes sense

it is not inaccurate o_o it is following the manga properly
just some of the things that are in manga are replaced with different animation but those dont affect the real story
and anime sure has a lot of fillers :| but they can be skipped and fillers dont affect the story either

The manga has proven that Anime only events are non-canon. Look at when Naruto met Utakata during the war, no reference to their filler meeting, they met for the first time there. Manga>anime since anime is just an adaptation.

It's accurate. It just follows the storyline of the Manga. Minor changes might be made, but they are hardly noticeable.

Fillers are stuff that doesn't appear in the Manga. They aren't being taken into the storyline either. They purely exist to get the Manga ahead of the Anime. Or to make more money..

Usually people take the Manga more seriously because that's fact. There is no denying it. Also, it's easier to just post a manga scan of something you are trying to prove.

The only thing that's not canonical about the anime is the fillers.

The plot and most of the important things are the same, it is just smaller bits that are different.

Sometimes they add non-canonical things to canon scenes.

That happens pretty often I think.

@OP: Anything that did not happen in the manga is not canon.
