Kishimoto really screwed up the Kage title

Naruto and Sasuke are so much stronger than the Kages right now, they could own the whole world if they want to. Nobody can stop them from annihilating the earth

At the beginning of manga we were lead to believe being hokage is the greatest accomplishment for a ninja. The Hokage was the title everybody looked up to. After Madara was revived, the whole Kage title was stomped to dust. Naruto becoming Hokage has completely lost it's meaning. He could as well become the world leader, given there's no resistance that would/could stop him from being so

Luffy becoming Pirate King is million times more meaningful than Naruto becoming Hokage now. Pirate King title will never become a joke, because there has only been 1 Pirate King.

The whole war arc destroyed the theme of the story, I must admit. I don't feel an emotional connection to Naruto manga anymore. Everything is happening as Neji said in Part 1, destiny rules. Part 2 has retconned the whole Part 1 after the war started

The kages could act as leaders and the hokage as the main emperor governor whatever idk the manga don't make sense anyways.

Almost any ninja can become Hokage as long as they worked their way in ranks,and get hand picked to be one.
Most likely Kakshi would be the next Hokage since it was hinted that he would.
The title hasn't been ruined by naruto and sasuke being strong.

And naruto deserve to be Hokage cause he worked hard to get to where he's at now. So that is meaningful.

So don't compare naruto to one piece.
