No it is not :|

Her Japanese name is Sarada. Japanese don't have "L's" in the alphabet, but they prounounce it Salad-E, which means Salad in the English language.

Her real name is Salad Uchiha.

Dude her name is also Sarada, otherwise we wouldn't be calling her that and Kishi wouldn't name a character after a boring tasteless food wtf. And it is a reference :|

Sigh, it is a reference to DBZ most likely. And yes, her name is Salad. I not only speak Japanese, I have asked my Japanese speaking friends. OD one of my friends made this on reddit for people like you

サラダ="Sarada" or "Salada". The R and L's can be interchangeable as we saw for Rock Lee. It's ambiguous.
So what is this talk about “Salad”? Well, yes, you guessed it, Japan his no kanji or hiragana for “salad” (remember a Bloody Mary from the table up top?) because it’s an English term. If this dish of green veggies gets written out, it’s written as “サラダ as the katakana approximation. Don’t believe me? Here are some common examples (and also have no kanji or hiragana equivalents commonly used):
サラダバー =Saradabaa= Salad bar
サラダドレッシング = Saradadoresshingu = Salad dressing
サラダボウル =Saradabouru= Salad bowl.
But what about that Salad Oil Rumour?
Salad oil is written any of these ways:
サラダ油 (Sarada Abura, the kanji is for oil from Jiraiya’s headthing too), サラダゆ(Sarada Yu), or サラダ オイル (SaradaOiru)
ウ (katakana) is the same sound as う (hiragana). It rhymes with the “oo” portion of “Goo”, or “Yuu” without the –Y sound.
ゆ is “Yu”, a different sound than “U” in Japanese.
うちは= Uchiha (as it is normally in hiragana) and not “Yuchiha” when pronunced. Similar sounding, but incorrect.
うちわ= Uchiwa=”fan” (and we already know the clan’s backstory to indicate that this is the “origin” meaning behind the crests). The は ha) is a subject marker for Japanese sentences, but is pronounced as “Wa”.
Though it might sound similar, I don’t think this is the case of Salad Oil.
Especially since the name order is always "Last Name, First Name"= Uchiha "Sarada*". The yu//oil thing doesn't really make sense in that way either. You'd have to flip it to westernization order as "Sarada" Uchiha, and then sort of mispronounce it as "Yu" instead of "U" as mentioned above, to make it work.

As seen with the precedence of Rock Lee, Guy, and Sai, it's more likely to be Salad.
Since サラダ already has a very common usage as a equivalent to “Salad”, it would not surprise me if he indeed meant for “Sarada” to be the best that he could approximate “Salad”.

To be perfectly honest none of the kids in this gem look bad ass so to speak.Bolt is just a Naruto clone with a bratty vibe which makes him a step lower than Naruto .Salad looks of the studious type.So when majority of em look like abominations I really don't care

What I hate about her than anything is the I'm a nerd so I'm going to adjust my glasses every 5 seconds thing they seem to be doing. It's so cliche and when I see it every friggin japanese game or anime with characters touching their glasses comes to mind. I hope it's not going to be a habit. She'll seem sooooooo annoying if that is the case.

Alot of animes do it already.
