Kishimoto hates Minato

@Bold, that doesn't solve the fact that Tsunade > Minato when it comes to being a Hokage....

What Minato did was the job of every single shinobi of konoha. Protecting the village = responsibility of everysingle shinobi of the village..

I don't need to say anything to prove Minato > Tsunade at being a kage. I just need to post this picture.

Vote Tsunade 2014. Let's pick up the pieces of our village again.

1st of all I'm going to be all over that thread if you make it. Second of all, Minato gave his life to protect the village. Tsunade just gave some of her chakra and a summoning, and that wasnt even enough, the village was STILL destroyed. Tsunade failed hard compared to Minato, a real kage.

My favorite Hokage is Tobirama, so I'm going to throw that out there.

Favorites:
1. Tobirama
2. Hashirama
3. Minato
4. Tsunade
5. Hiruzen

Powerful:
1. Hashirama
2. Bm Minato
3. Minato (sm)
4. "Prime" Hiruzen (theoretical)
5. Tobirama
6. Old Hiruzen
7. Tsunade

But it terms of being the best hokage for the village, I believe it goes like this:
1. Tsunade: None of hers really caused problems. How was she supposed to fight pein. She healed as many as she could.
2. Minato: Saved the village, but didn't really have long enough of a rein to do much more good or bad.
3. Hiruzen: He didn't directly cause the Uchiha clan conflict, but he should've stopped Danzo.
4. Hashirama: Don't give biju to villages who obviously did not like each other in the meeting.
5. Tobirama: most of his jutsu he created has caused problems.

I think at first, Minato seemed like the perfect character. There was nothing really wrong with him and he was a super boss hero. But in Madara and Obito's company, Kishi starts asspulling character flaws for Minato to struggle with and now Minato isn't the super op solo king that he once was.

Now he's an armless zombie.

To be perfectly honest I feel as if Minato's character has gotten better due to his flaws, I find 'perfect' characters boring. But feel free to keep your opinion mate, it's all a matter of preference.

I agree. I like that his character flaws came out as well. It makes Minato seem human; That hasn't diminished Minato's character in my eyes at all. However, having the main villain poop on my favorite character isn't very nice... Kishi! I remember when the hokages were all hypeing Minato's power, that part of the manga was so awesome and epic. And now that Minato's armless it's just not as exciting.

No, even though Minato's character failed he still has the Golden boy, Mr. Perfect image. Adding flaws isnt as simple as just giving characters slip up. Its best when characters fail, acknowledge their mistakes and persevere. Minato's fails IMO aren't flaws, but flops
