Kishimoto completly failed this arc.

Pretty weak argument in all honesty. Kishimoto obviously wants an audience and feedback or he wouldn't have signed up for a large magazine like shonen jump. Unless we're talking pure greed, satisfying your audience is something every writer ought to do.

Your defences for Kishi are nothing more than straw-man fallacies.

And I've said it before and I will say it again, the "if you don't like it, don't read it" response is the worst argument one can give. It fully ignores the subject and leaves an arbitrary "well there" answer.

1. Not even an argument, simply statements. Kishimoto wants an audience and feedback. However, he gets it without needing to please the fanboys, who die over their characters. Me and my cuz have total of 60 volumes. So we have supported Kishimoto.

2. Just like your complaints are nit picks because you didn't get what you want. right?

"If you don't like it, don't read it" implies stop wasting your time into reading something that you don't like, and go read something you do. All you are gonna do is cause yourself negative thoughts. Hence it is a justifiable response.

:)

Sure, but you can't dismiss the fact that people have legit complaints about this arc by saying their expections are too high either.

You can though.. that is the thing. You are making your expectations , Kishi's fault. When in reality all they are, are simply your expectations. There is nothing wrong with them. But blaming the writer for that.. rofl yeaa is not really smart.

There were black rods sticking out of Gaara and Ay,Mei was literally laying in a pool of her own blood. Not to mention of the rods were sticking out of Gaara's back which should have killed him given the ammount of time it took Tsunade to summon Katsuyu and heal them all.

dude i doubt was ten minutes not because a lot of chapters has passed doesnt mean that how time move its been about 4 days from the start of the war to were its at now

My expectations have nothing to do with the fact that this arc so far has been pretty average.

1.Purchasing his series is not nearly enough to advocate "enjoying" a series or even criticizing it properly. Again, that argument is a straw man, it doesn't address a thing I've said. Kishi does have to keep in mind the perceptions people have while reading his series, and definitely should take into account certain factors before moving on, which he does.

2. Nit picks are just more of your own arbitrary views here. What you consider a nit pick is something someone else can view as a serious flaw. And this is a Naruto Discussion board. As in every miniscule thing you found interesting is equally as relevant and important to discussion topics as a "nit pick" or complaint.

For example: If you say something like "I love this panels artwork", that entire concept is on equal footing with "This panel looked like a piece of shit". Both are personal beliefs and both are worth discussing.

And I will say this once more, it's not up to you to decide whether someone's time is wasted reading something they don't like. All you can do is address the arguments and tackle them head on. "Don't like don't read" is not a justifiable response because it does not bring anything to a discussion. It's tactless and a little retarded in all honesty. It's probably no better than senseless spam to be honest.

And I swear the :) emote is just irritating as hell. It looks like condescension in blue.

We don't know when Madara decided to finish the Kage off but it was a considerable ammount of time since he had to travel to Obito,Naruto,Kakashi,Gai,and Bee's location. One of them should have bled out including Tsunade.

Do you guys seriously not understand our grievances?

Grievances?

So what Kishi wronged you, does Kishi owe you something for reading his work for free?

Honestly the people who hate the manga and yet still read it, are just your run of the mill whiners who are never satisfied no matter what they get, Kishi could deliver a masterpiece and some people still find something to complain about.

Oh well, every work has them.

Calling people whiners does'nt help your case....I could call those who bash people because they dared to criticize the manga blind fanboys/fangirls but that would'nt help matters.

And who gives a f*ck if people read the manga for free?Does that mean they're not allowed to criticize the story because they are reading the chapters for free online? If so then that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

1. rofl no he doesn't. No clue where you are getting your info from. But even comic writers put out their own story that they feel is the best way. Kishimoto doesn't have to listen to the readers at all. In fact the readers pay to see what is gonna happen next in his series, what he is gonna think up next. And yes buying 60 volumes is plenty actually.

2. No point giving me a lecture on views, when you called my argument a straw-man argument. Sounds like a hypocritical argument to me here.

Time to read my posts again. I never told anyone to not complain. I stated it is a waste of time, however why didn't you let them defend for themselves and say it isn't a waste of time for them? No point trying to be Voltaire here. I have already explained why it is a reasonable response, if you choose to ignore it, it is simply your choice.

Clearly you should read my posts again. Did I say fans can't complain? Did I force them to not complain?

In the end Expectations aren't kishimoto's fault, since he has no standard or rubric to builds things according to. People pay to read what Kishimoto wrote.

Maybe I was a little harsh, but that doesn't change that saying that you have grievances is absolutely ridiculous, there is criticizing then their is acting like Kishi has betrayed you just because he didn't give you the story you wanted.

Besides if the manga was really as bad as many people complain they wouldn't be reading it, the "wanting to see the ending" argument is just an excuse and a weak argument.

Some people vent their complaints in different ways but that's not a excuse to bash them since it will only result in them being even more angry.

Love how this thread turned from people saying pointless b*tching that is dependent on your expectations that Kishimoto probably doesn't even know of, and doesn't most likely care for is pointless, into defending the "Freedom of speech " on NB. Rofl.

-sigh-

He brought them out all right.... To the detriment of their reputation, they did serve a purpose....

And now as a result of Kishi’s discussion to do so, people’s perceptions of most characters are forever tainted.

The majority of fans are very disappointed, are you're going to suggest they all stop watching and reading? - You don’t think that approach will have any consequences?
Sure they might be consequences but if you don't like it then stop. He writes the story he wants and if you don't like it stop reading/watching. You don't continue an activity if you don't like it.

Don't try and justify what you believe to be bad writing just because you don't like it. I don't like any mark twain novels, does that mean he did a poor job with any of his works?

If people follow your advice then Kishi would lose money, the "don't like it,don't buy it/read it" argument is counter-productive.

It's to counter productive. You don't buy scar you don't like, is that counter productive to car companies. He has a following, and many including myself enjoy the week to week. Does every chapter make me jump out of my chair with excitement, no, does every chapter make me happy, no. But I also realize that it's a long story, and we can't get a gem every week. Some people just ***** and complain too much.
