Not really. People just need to think out of the box and in different cultural contexts. It's a symbol of resourcefulness. It is a multi-talented bird and can walk, swim and fly and thus may represent flexibility and in blending into various situations. In both Chinese and Japanese culture, the duck is a symbol of happiness and fidelity.
