Madara n obito went thru all this trouble to summon the ten tails and madara just sat there and watch the ten tails get defeated. He did absolutly nothing to protect it he could have at least had a wood clone with it he wouldn't be wasting any chakra. All he had to do was make 1000 wood clones n they wouldn't even have time to worry about the juubi.

No. Madara just wants to fight Hashirama at full strength, not a clone. Madara was never interested in the other fights going on (Juubi/Alliance Kakashi/Tobi) to begin with.

He never really cared about beating hashirama. His main goal has always been infinite tysukomi n he need the juubi to do that. Like I said he could have made a wood clone to protect the jubi or 1 to face hashi clone but he did absolutely nothing.

Madara said it himself. he said he didn't care about who was winning the battle because for him it was about him winning a war which involves him putting the world in his genjutsu.

thats just the authors note to through readers off and so they will talk about it so it isnt a solid clarification until next week also on the *********** version it doesn't say that
also the way the juubi was dealt with seemed too simple and unsatisfying for the so called progenitor of all living things, so i will put faith in the juubi still being functional

I actually hope you are right. I just didn't like the way things unfolded in this chapter except for the naruto n sasuke combo I just wish it was like on the small clones instead of the juubi itself
