After years of waiting, predicting and more waiting, Kishi revealed Tobi to be Obito. And now he has made Tobi’s reason for creating the Akatsuki and declaring world domination, because of the death of Rin, seriously! Did Kishi run out of ideas for good plot twist or get lazy, in my opinion, the last few chapters of the manga have been ridiculously predictable. What will he ruin next, I just want it to end!

Simplicity is often the best. I loved this chapter. (except for flashbacks)

It's apart of the theme of the story that is Naruto. The greatest of evil men were once just like you or me but somewhere along the way a catastrophe happened and it warped their perception of reality and made them the ultimate cynic; examples: Kimimarou, Pein, Orochimaru, Gaara, etc;
This is the theme of the manga and it holds the consistency of the story. Kishi will throw in some twist that we haven't yet seen, but he has to hold true to the theme, like all great authors do.
You're probably just mad because you thought it would be Izuna or someone but that would make absolutely no sense, this on the other hand is a perfect progression of events.
Oh, and to all the Obito doubters (and i'm sure there will still be some even in light of this evidence) I TOLD YOU SO!

wft yall mean just wait?!? There's isnt anything to wait for, Tobi has been revealed and that's that. All that waiting gonna leave most of yall looking foolish, thinking more about every situation than is needed. If Kish wants to have a predictable storyline he'll do just that, and if ppl want to accept it for what it is and complain we'll do just that too haha.

I'm perfectly fine with Rin's death being the source of Obito's change of heart. It makes sense, fits into the story that we know and leaves countless possibilities in regard to what Kishi can tell us.

It may seem predictable, but it obviously matters to the story and, imo, is the best reason as to why Tobi would turn evil.
