Probably, but they don't want any problems either. If too many people complain about something, the sales of their magazine could drop and that's something they want to avoid.
So really, Kishimoto-sensei isn't insulting religion anywhere in his manga - it doesn't even have a place in it, aside from the words that look similar apparently to some used in Buddhism, which is probably coincidental. He has enough with thinking out the plot and the war and such, he's not going to insult a religion just for the heck of it.
Honestly, if you hadn't pointed out the similarity between some words, I would never have noticed it at all and that's the same for a lot of fans I suspect.
So you can be at ease: Kishimoto-sensei doesn't have the intention of insulting religion in his manga. He would gain nothing by doing that
