I doubt he really had religion in his mind when he started to write about this stuff. And do you really think Shonen jump would have allowed him to continue his serie with them if they got a lot of letters saying he insults religion?
Having certain words similar to the ones used in Buddhism isn't the same as insulting religion. Those words all have a meaning in Japanese and it's not his intention to insult religion by using words similar to the ones used in certain religions.

Probably, but they don't want any problems either. If too many people complain about something, the sales of their magazine could drop and that's something they want to avoid.

So really, Kishimoto-sensei isn't insulting religion anywhere in his manga - it doesn't even have a place in it, aside from the words that look similar apparently to some used in Buddhism, which is probably coincidental. He has enough with thinking out the plot and the war and such, he's not going to insult a religion just for the heck of it.
Honestly, if you hadn't pointed out the similarity between some words, I would never have noticed it at all and that's the same for a lot of fans I suspect.
So you can be at ease: Kishimoto-sensei doesn't have the intention of insulting religion in his manga. He would gain nothing by doing that

Who says they are anti religion? How many Japanese people do you know and have talked to? You can't say they are anti religion if you don't know any of them or talked to just a few.
And where does it state in the manga that Kishimoto-sensei is against religion? He doesn't even incorporate it in his story because it doesn't bring anything to the plot. A lot of manga don't have anything religious in it.

And seriously, just because some of the techniques or names (which are in Japanese I might add) are similar to the ones used in Buddhism, doesn't mean he's insulting the religion. Does he explicitly state that religion is crap? Does any character state that it hates religion? Has Kishimoto-sensei ever dropped a clue that he's anti religion? No, he hasn't.

Don't assume things about somebody if you don't know them personally. If Naruto truly had anti religious stuff in it, people would have noticed it before.
But words looking similar to those used in a religion, isn't being anti religious. That's just coincidental. Especially because those particular words used in Naruto are Japanese and have a meaning in that language.

I'm not flaming you - I'm merely stating my opinion of what I think of your thread.

And good luck with the moderators - what do you think they'll be able to do? Send a letter to Kishimoto-sensei stating he should redraw his entire story and leave the toads out of it? They are the moderators of this site, but they don't have anything to do with Kishimoto-sensei.

There are four moderators and two global moderators online now. If you think they'll make a rule for this, then go ask them. I'm certain they'll tell you they can't do anything about it, considering it doesn't have anything to do with the site itself

Just because you want something to happen and it didn't you don't have to call kishi a retard. I don't think a retard can write a manga so well that the fans made a website for it. You call him a retard yet you have an account and is active on a website that's dedicated to his success. Damn bro U_U
This...I agree with this 100%

And calling someone a retard shows you are probably younger than the manga your trashing. Fail thread

You wanna create a censorship on something you don't like? Next you'll have people shave of hair, if it's not the color you like...It's a free world. If you don't like it, take control of a third world country, and create a fascist government. Then wreck havoc on everything you don't like...But until then you'll have to endure the frogs.

i do care for it because i'am a buddhist

If you were a true buddhist, you would of learnt by now to let people have their opinions, accept them and move on.

on thing i love about those kind of people - they dont try and shove their stuff down ya, they accept it, move on and always happy to welcome them and teach them if they're interested.

Edit: PLUS ... only NOW do you show any hate about the frogs ... either you're quite slow or wanting attention (just my opinion there)

no he insult the zen monks

LMAO, if you follow Buddhism to any extent you would know how irreverant they can be at times, and that you should be cautious of mystifying it through the trappings of propriety and ritual. You would also know that you can find Zen anywhere and through anything. One of my favorite Koan's was one that came from Ummon. When Ummon was asked by his follower "What is the Buddha?", Ummon responded "A dried stick of dung."

You would be hard pressed to insult a monk. The ones I've spoken with shake their heads laugh about the contradictions of cultivating selflessness by asking for donations so that they can have food, shelter, and modest conveniences, which allow them to focus more on themselves and meditating to achieve enlightenment.

Wait, I thought that the "sen" part of "senjutsu" came from "sennin" which means sage and "senjutsu" meant "sage technique"? Gotta tell me what's the link between that and zen monks.
