both naruto and luffy made the same dumb surprised face when they saw neji(resp ace) being pierced.
both neji and ace died their head on the shoulder of naruto (resp luffy).

Ace's death made me feel more emotional than Neji's death.I literally wanted someone to die unlike the war in One Piece.

not to burst your bubble, but I really doubt that Ace's death is the first one to go that way. at any rate, there are things in One Piece that remind me of Naruto, there are things in Naruto that remind me of One Piece, there are lots of things in Fairy Tail borrowed from both, and all these kinds of manga borrow from Dragonball. so it's not really an issue
