As we all know , Kishi is avid DBZ fan.


Legendary Uchiha Madara = Pure blooded elite Uchiha , born with unusual strong chakra and spiritual energy.

Prince Vegeta = The last surviving Prince of the Saiyan race , Has strong Saiyan bride.


Both of them like to fight the strongest opponent = Hashirama and Goku.

Kishimoto most likely based , Madara on Vegeta = atleast made similar character , with slightly different personality.

Both of them are very confident about their powers.​

Vegeta is nothing, Toriyama made sure of that, thats why vegeta became a punching bag starting from his fight with Frieza -> the end of Z.

Madara comes back from the dead and is not immortal and has an infinite pool of chakra and stamina. Madara is everything vegeta wanted to be

I'm not saying , that Vegeta was 100% basis for Uchiha Madara.

He used most of Vegetas Basic elements to develope Uchiha Madara.

They share many common traits.

Also , their powers are unique in comparison.

Also , Kishi tends to draw Uchiha Madara in a similar way = arrogant and confident poses.

Sasuke is the "Vegeta" of these series. Madara only ressembles Vegeta at the very beginning of DBZ.

Vegeta is the best character of DBZ imo, he gets fighting his own pride, his hate against Goku and his human side at the same time without knowing it. Just like Sasuke says he hates Naruto and the Village and all, but in the end he's still asking himself what they are about.

Madara is more comparable to Cell, he's obsessed with being the ultimate perfect shinobi and gets "bored" of his opponents when they're no match for him.
