It was the chapter where Naruto and Sasuke face off in that arc. Sakura states to herself that she is a failure of a ninja and says that she couldn't change her situation. So the notion that she was successfully developing a S-Rank jutsu for these past three years is a huge continuity error.

Tbh he should have gave her genjutsu, have her clock some hours under Kurenai since hinata/kiba/Shino aren't learning their masters techs.

Yeah its a constant topic of mine. She should have had it by pain arc when Sasuke and naruto were onto heir next leap. Then more abilities to come.

Edit: also if that had happened she would have been able to reveal her ability to summon Katsuya and perform remote healing while tsunade did something else. I believe she could summon Katsuya before the seal though cuz she had a contract she must have.

Then prep for war she could have learned something else. I would have also made her know genjutsu over the time skip to shippuden. Better speed.

nah, not only do I dislike tsunades jutsu, but I hate that it was given to sakura.
it is tired & redundant when their other abilities are considered.

and since she was never going to be anywhere near sasue/naruto level, it would have been nice to make her a jack of all trades - a 3-way cross between Kurenai, Hayate & Ao/Karin to complement her ''normal'' medical jutsu, instead of the trifle that is ''100 healings''

I'mma disagree here Rasta. From what I wanted to see personally from Sakura in shippuden was some more ninjutsu, & or poison techniques learned from Shizune. She already showed off her great CES strength from her training with Tsunade against Kakashi with Naruto @ the bell training. Along with Genjutsu on par or surpassing Kurenai due to all her "genjutsu type" with "excellent chakra control" hype from part I feel would have led to a great heroine. But you know. Kishi...
